Question about adapter cables

I have a 1200 watt EVGA Supernova Platinum with 3 8+8 pin cards running on it now pulling 740 watts through a Kill-A-Watt (2 980Ti's and 1 1180 FTW2). I run GPUGrid WU's and I want to add another 1180 FTW2.
 
My question is what are these little adapter cables that come with the cards and can I use them? I have 2 Peripheral and 2 SATA receptacles open, would I be able to use these adapters? If I can't, what would be the best way to go? The new card has an 8+8 pin configuration.

    Search for 'Dual SATA to 8-pin PCIe' and 'Dual Molex to 8-pin PCIe' and you'll find them like this and this in many places.

    You can also get Dual 6+2-pin or Dual 8-pin PCIe cables for your 1200W P2 unit at CableMod for $14.90 plus shipping..I would go this route.

    The adapters that come with the card are 'Dual 6-pin PCIe to 8-pin PCIe' you can use if you have four 6-pin PCIe connectors hanging around.

    Great thanks, I would assume that you would use a separate peripheral port for each Molex plug? I think I'll go with one of each for now and have some custom cables made at CableMod. Thanks again.

    If you have a single SATA cable that has two SATA connectors on it you could use that, but I wouldn't use more than two SATA connectors per cable to connect to an 8-pin PCIe..Best just to get the right dual 6+2 pin or dual 8 pin cable for your PSU and not use adapters.
