I'm looking to upgrade my MoBo for more GPU slots so I have 3 questions...

1. I have a i7-2600 (NOT K) will that work with this MoBo

2. I have a 650Ti BOOST SC. Is my CPU a bottleneck for my GPU.

3. Would the above CPU be a bottleneck for a 780Ti?

Thank you,
Jon

    1. No, that is a 1155 CPU, Z87 is Socket 1150
    2. No
    3. Depends on the application and resolution of your monitor. Generally though, not really, would you see an increase in performance if you had the ability to overclock, yes.

So what if any MoBo would I be able to use with my CPU?? I know it's older so being able to find stuff for it will be harder. I'm newer to the OC stuff and am still having issues understanding it so everything I have is stock settings. I'll learn more when I have time.

    Thanks for the help,
    Jon

Any motherboard that is socket 1155. Not having a K processor, is going to limit your overclock.

Does EVGA have anything for a 1155? I kinda want a EVGA build.

I see some on Amazon. Look for Z68 and Z77 Motherboards. Thing is though, EVGA motherboards during the 1155 socket where not very good and many people switched to Asus or MSI.
