From what I've read it seems the cable that comes with the monitor is hit or miss as far as quality. Most people end up buying a quality 24awg dual link dvi cable. I figured I'd order some ahead of time in case I have any issues.

I actually ordered one on Newegg and one on Amazon. Newegg had an option of 3-5 day shipping for an extra $10. My amazon order says between Jan 13th- 31st.

My amazon tracking number says it was shipped today using UPS World Wide Express Saver. According to the UPS website, that is next day delivery. Crossing my fingers!!!

I didn't realize there was a difference in quality of cable for DVI-D. The one that came with the monitor seemed fine. Nonetheless, I went ahead and purchased the same cable, it was the last one in stock. Is there a big difference when using a higher quality cable? Better overclocking?

From the reading I did on 120hz.net and the tempest forums the cable can make or break your overclock. Running the monitor at 1440p 120hz uses more bandwidth than say just 1440p and 60hz. A quality 28awg Dual link DVI cable should have enough bandwidth but everyone recommends a 24awg cable to be on the safe side. I did read posts from a few users who could not reach 120hz or even 100hz and changing out the cable got them there. Obviously a quality cable still won't get you to 120hz if your monitor isn't capable of it. I get my first monitor and my cables tomorrow; the second monitor comes on friday. I'll post my results when I get it setup

I got my first monitor hooked up and I have to say WOW! I've never seen a pls/ips panel in person but now I can definitely see why people praise the colors on them. Upon on boxing I learned that you need to remove the bezel and panel if you want to remove the stem that the stand attaches to. It's relatively easy and anyone with any technical/mechanical skills should be able to do it in 10 mins. Once I got it hooked up, overclocking was extremely easy. I was able to make a custom resolution in the nvidia control panel at 120hz which worked without any artifacts. I also ended up using a color profile from tft central. I am however concerned about the Vram usage at 120hz, without my second monitor I'm using 2.56gb of Vram in BF4. In regards to the DVI cables, I took a picture of the one that was included as well as the one I purchased. The one I purchased is on the right and you can clearly see the difference in gauge as well as the gold plating. Basically any and all information on how to do anything with these monitors can be found http://www.overclock.net/t/1384767/official-the-korean-pls-monitor-club-qnix-x-star

VRAM is VRAM and 120MHz is 120MHz they do not correlate in any way. You are seeing more VRAM usage because it is 2560x1440. If coming from 1080p that is why you are seeing more VRAM used.

For some reason I thought they both affected vram I guess I stand corrected. Thanks
