EVGA GTX 780 Ti SC temperature

Hello, I recently bought an EVGA GTX 780 Ti SC and when I play Batman at start it crashes a lot and after a while it works fine but the temperatures I get are beyond 80 degrees. Is it normal? I run the game in ultimate options and I get 60 fps. But is it normal to have such high temperatures?

    Hi and Welcome to the forums...
     
    My temp playing Batman AO with all maxed settings is 66 - 69C.  I use a custom fan profile in PrecX though.  If you're just using the "Auto" fan feature, I believe it will keep your card about 80 - 85C.  I guess that's where they figure is the best noise to temp ratio.
     
    Depending on your case airflow, these cards cool very well.  I have my fan profile hit 75% at 70C and that keeps the temp under 70C.

    As with any high end graphics card make absolutely sure that your PC chassis has maximum airflow

    Thank you for your answers! I am new to Nvidia and haven't checked the PrecisionX to it's full potential but I am going to. I guess I could add some extra fans since I don't have many because I watercool m/b and cpu and I plan to add the gpu on watercooling loop but can't afford it yet..what made me worry most was that I saw some crashes in the beggining of the game. Thank you again
