Couldn't find anything in the help guides on configuring a current gpu folding setup. Would someone please point me there? Thanks.

FYI currently running mixed cards; 400 and 600 series and looking to purchase 700 series.

Here's a link on how to set up V7 with advanced flags. You can replace advanced with beta, but there will be no support from Stanford if your not on the beta team. GL!

OK I am still using the FAH tracker V2. Should I get rid of it and set up like in the link above?

Yeah, V7 lets you get the new core 17 and the QRB work units.

If monitoring the computer on which HFM is installed, you only need to enter 127.0.0.1 for Address, otherwise you'll have to look up the IP of the computer.  By default v7 uses port 36330 and does not have a password.  Client Name is whatever you want HFM to call it.  The Test Connection button helps to check if you've entered everything correctly.

Do the V7 for sure. The 400series card I honestly would not fold on. points per wattage is not good. The 600 will be good and score core17. Try to upgrade to 700 series when you can. That is the sweet spot.

Oh yea. When I first started I had mass 9800 GX2's, GTX 280's and GTX 295's. Heck I even had one rig with 6 x 9800 GT's in it.

I'm monitoring another computer and have multiple clients on it. Not sure what you are trying to tell me.

You might want to enter a password into the client first, then restart it so the password takes effect.  Make sure to enter it in the Connection tab as well as the Remote Access tab (both are in Configure of Advanced Control).  Looking at the client's instructions, not having a password means that anything trying to connect to it must have its IP address Allowed in the Passwordless IP Address Restriction section, and that might apply to HFM as well as other clients.

See picture below, this is what it will look like when adding a Local client.

This is what it would look like when adding a V7 across the network that's in a W7 or Linux environment.
You have to add the IP address of each rig you wish to monitor and give that rig a name.

Edit: this post will be helpful on the V7 end of the setup: http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2041644

Don't feel bad about that, think I did the same tryed to edit a old entry with v7 info with my 1st go of v7 & HFM.
Is nice that once added correctly it picks up all V7 clients from a rig, not having to add a path for each is nice.
Only thing I dislike is each can't have it own name like v6, takes a little getting use to looking at slot # and hardware
to know just what hardware project/TPF/points your looking at when you have smp + 2x GPU's or more on a single rig.

If you or anyone else isn't very electric conscience, I have a Galaxy GTS 450 I would let someone fold with. Right now i just use it to power my monitor while my 760 folds, because I don't play any fancy games at the moment.

That's normal.  Something about the way 7.3.6 labels slots causes HFM, which hasn't been updated in a while, to see them all as uniprocessor slots.  Or maybe it gets confused and uniprocessor was the default case.  Anyway, it's a cosmetic issue.

Try this make sure in HFM under Edit/preferences/ web settings tab you have
    http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummaryC.html as the project URL.
Then HFM under Tools, click\ Download projects from Stanford
After it completes a few WU's the slot type will most likely show up correct, or mine does.
If your talking about SMP/GPU types?

I was in the same boat as Horvat, I came back without folding much with the v7 client and had no clue what to do.  I think it would be a good idea if someone created a how to guide for 6xx/7xx/Titan and the v7 client in general since I had to piece together the information from all over the place.  I was folding without the advanced WUs on my pair of Titans and was about to give up since I knew a Titan should achieve way more points than I was seeing so hopefully the breadcrumb trail I followed will earn me much more points.

What 700 series card are you thinking about?

One more question on this topic. What flags should I run on the V7 client slots? Already have advanced programmed in.

If you like 8018 leave it on advanced. If you want QRB then change it to beta.
