"Now that EVGA has their foot in the door, it's going to be awfully hard for competitors to close it. This unit is, quite simply, amazing. It's powerful, stable, and has the build quality to last for decades. The one flaw - and it is a small one - is that this new P2 line competes almost directly with the G2 line. But even so, the price difference between the two really isn't anything to stop you from buying one over the other. If you need to save twenty bucks so you can pay for parking next week, get the G2 and sleep well. If you have the extra cash and want certain Platinum performance, Japanese capacitors all around, and a fanless mode, get this one. It's all good." - JonnyGURU.com

The Good:
  • didn't you read the last sentence? It's all good. Oh, very well.
  • beyond excellent voltage regulation
  • beyond excellent ripple control
  • build quality with 100% Japanese capacitors
  • 10 year warranty
  • fully modular
The Bad:
  • not one dadgum thing

I got mine off Amazon AND at the time it had a $15 rebate... I like the trade up
I did from my Seasonic Platinum 860... Even though my first P2 blew up... It happens...

In the 1000 watt market, EVGA's got everyone beat, and when you factor in the 10 year warrantee, buying one of these is a total no-brainer...Of course, finding one might be a bit tricky, but well worth the wait...

Gigabyte Z590 Vision G Mobo, intel i3 10105 CPU, 32GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR4 3200 RAM, EVGA GTX 750ti FTW Video Card, EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 power supply, Fractal Design Focus G (White) case, Cooler Master Hyper212 RGB Black CPU cooler. 2 Dell LED Monitors (20" & 24"), SK Hynix Gold 1TB SATA SSD (OS Drive), 6 WD HDDs 13TB total (Storage).
Rig is a partial update on the old Gigabyte P43/Q6600 OC rig... The WD HDD's, (13TB, total), Blu-ray & DVD burners,  GTX750ti FTW & Supernova 850 G2 psu, migrated from old setup... Will get an 11700K, and an RTX 3060 12GB Black card, when I'm ready to OC... Windows 11 Pro set for performance, and it runs at 4.2Ghz...
Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Wheel/Pedals,
Built for Gaming, Video Production, and Cakewalk, Cubase DAWs...
