About 2-3 years ago I bought 3 Evga GTX 570 SuperClocked 1256MB video cards from a local retailer. Through them for each card I bought a 4 year extended warranty. Last year one of them died and the store replaced them with a Evga GTX 670 2G video card. Just last week the other 2 died. They no longer have any of the Evga GTX 670's left.

My question is which 700 series video card should replace those GTX 570's? I would think a 770 2GB card would be the closest. I'm afraid they will give me a 750 or a 740 or something. The only 600 series cards they have left are the GTX 660 Ti and the GTX 660 Ti FTW.

Also, are those GTX 570's still under manufactures warranty? I have them registered.

I would think that a 760 would actually be more in line.

If they replaced the first one with a 670, and the 760 was a "rehash" of the 670's, then I'd think that's where it would line up.

The only thing is, your triple SLI setup won't work now with the 760's and 670. But the 760's in 3way don't have the performance gain to warrant it. I would suggest getting the 760's FTW or SC if you can in SLI and just sell the 670.

Pretty sure even the 760 would be slightly better than a 570.  So a 770 would trounce a 570.  Remember a 770 is essentially a 680 with higher clocked ram and other little tweaks.  Besides, 750 or 740 are not even out yet and those pretty sure would be a downgrade.  Even if they give you a 660Ti, it should be at least as good as your 570s.

I assume your 570s should have a 3 year warranty, so it may be close that you are within the time frame.  If you log into your account and check your products, it should tell for sure or not if you are in the warranty period.  If you are, you can start the RMA process and I'm sure EVGA will fix you up.

    Good luck.

I wouldn't say it is WAY superior. But considering what he mentioned in his initial post, they replaced his 570 with a 670 which according to that chart, is better than a 760... So yes, the warranty should replace the 570 with 760s

You linked a 780 not a 760.  Big difference there.  Of course the 780 is way superior to a 570.

nevermind, I see the 2nd chart that shows all the different cards.  I originally just saw the 780 heading on the first chart.  Anyway, looks like 760 is about 3500-3600 and the 570 was like 2800.  Sure its better, but way superior is a bit exaggerated in my opinion anyway.

If the cards are registered, look at the warranty under the member home tab at the top. It should tell you under your registered product page, or call tech support. I doubt your warranty is still good, and if it is, they will probably replace them with the same card or something. Not really sure, because you aren't going through the original vendor.

Thank you everyone for the help and information.

I did call Evga today with the serial numbers and the cards are still under warranty but I think I'll just go ahead with the instore replacement plan. That way I get 2 brand new 760's opposed to refurbished 570's or whatever they have that's in stock.

The 760's that I'm getting are the Superclocked versions so Im happy about that.

That is a really good deal!
Congrats man!  You may want to consider selling the 670 to buy a 760 if you still want to go 3way SLI.
