Hi everybody, just got my new x79 Dark and built everything up. But when i was finished i just got the First Problem.
I got error Code d6 which says that there is no Video card. Also i've Seen that my zotac gtx780 had no running Fan and the GeForce gtx lighton the side of the card was Not lighting up.
On the second time i tried to Boot everything worked great.  i had a look in the hardwaremonitor in the BIOS if everything is allright and left the BIOs. But then it wasn't able to Boot up again and posted error Code d6 again.

Anybody out WHO has the Same issues?

Maybe a Problem with the PCIe slot i thought and tried the second One, but Same Problem appeared.
PSU is ok for sure tested it on another pc and also exchanged the 6 and 8Pin cable from psu to graphocs card.

Biosis still 2.01

Thanks for any suggestions!

Do you have the 6 pin power hooked up on the bottom left of the board? There is a page in the bios that will let you choose between 6 pin power or 24 pin to run the GPU's. I am not at my p.c. now, but it's in the bios somewhere.

D6  =  No Console Output Devices are found
What Slot is the GPU in?
What Is the Model of you PSU
What CPU Do you have in your X79 Dark MB?
And what sgtharry stated about the 6 Pin at the bottom left on the MB and with it plugged in you must select the 6 Pin in the BIOS as well.

Okay, just found out what was the problem at this point. Maybe also my fault ;).

I watched a review about the board on youtube, where the guy of newsegg said that it's not necessary to put in the 6Pin ATX Power Connector under the last PCIE on the bottom of the board. As soon as i plugged it in the board was able to boot up everytime.

    My Setup is as follows:
    -i7-7930k@H2O
    -EVGA DARK
    -ZOTAC GTX780
    -Saphire Pure 150W
    -128GB Samsung 830

Other things i was able to find out in the last few hours were:
    - the Ram Voltage that is set up in Bios under load is much higher than the monitored one if VDROP is DISABLED!
    - same thing on the VCORE. If you DISABLE VDROP and set it up to 1.35 you habe about 1.46V under load (Measured on PIN1 on J21)
    - With 2.04 BIOS All monitored voltages are not even near on the real one. (Tested CPU-Z, E-Leet, AIDA and HWMONITOR and got values from <1V up to 1,35 with real measured 1,46V)

So guys be careful with your voltages ! Otherwise your RAM or CPU get much more than you expected ;)

@SgtHarry: Haven't tried it out but also found is in the XTECH Settings. Maybe this is a solution for the guys that don't want to use the extra 6 Pin Connector ;)
    But thanks for your answer!
