hello peeps :) as you can tell I'm fairly new around here still, but I'm not a big forum talker. anyways I do try to come by when I can to read up on things and all. anyways I built me a new machine I stepped away from AMD this time which amd is what I always go with when I build new computers. so anyhoot last time I built a machine I said man I wanna go with evga but they are intel only. maybe next time well next time is here and I done just what I was wanting to do. and went with the evga x79 dark mb and had a question for anyone who may had experienced this problem. by any chance even after performing the windows updates did anyone have possible higher ping in servers which they would normally have 20 or below ping in? I'm a big cs 1.6 player and pretty much know all I can go about as far as tweaking and settings to have cs setup as. 3 weeks ago had a new cable dropped and still made 65mbps dl and 13mbps upload. but when I go to a server in the same state as me usually dallas, tx I'm getting 50-60 ping. so I've been trying to figure that one out I've been hoping its just the server box or server company they all may be running on. but I am not for sure, and suggestions for tweaking your internet dl and upload? or maybe theres a setting in the new bios? or are the two internet ports different maybe? I can do a few things in the regristry but I don't remember them helping very much. anyways if no one has an answer maybe its just the server and will go away in a few days if not I know I got this post started to help myself and possible others with the same problem. thanks for your time have a great day. ohh guess I should brag on my system a little I keep trying to upload the pics but the upload lags out.

That's a sweet PC - you should be set for quite a while with that.  I'm not sure what you can do about the ping, generally it seems improvements are found within the application.
