I finally finished my Accelero Hybrid GPU cooler review using my trusty EVGA GTX 670 FTW graphics card ;) What the hybrid lacks in value it makes up for in performance.

Preview Spoilers :)

With summer coming, I'm now looking at aftermarket coolers lol. Yesterday was quite unbearable and I had to back off my overclock and my card was still reaching 80c under load with the fan at 75% (any more than that is waaay too loud for me)

I do believe this review has sold me on this particular cooler.

I plan on using the Corsair H60 Closed loop cooler to cool my GX 670 FTW card.  Im hoping i can get temps like yours.  I will post pics once i receive my bracket from dwood.

I thought about doing that, but considering the cost of this cooler has come down significantly since last year, it's well worth it to me.

think this can work in SLI for 670 ftw with a NZXT switch 810 . didnt think about this option thoughts ?

custom water loop cost about $350 to $400 au
    hybrid x 2 coolers $250 au

large price difference . cause i have a h80 on cpu think this be a smart option ?

NZXT switch 810 (with Mods to increase airflow)
    5 x Bitfenix 140mm fans
    NZXT fan controller
    Antec 900 watt PSU
    Corsair H-80
    Intel 3930k (OC) 4.2ghz
    Asus P9x79 pro
    Corsair 1866mhz 16gb DDR3

Noise levels are very high on my list. I read where your sound meter was defective... Sorry to read that. Any plans to go back to that portion?

I can get those same temps at a sacrifice of noise... So, in all reality. This review is to incomplete for me to have an opinion or even be cautiously optimistic without the Db ratings in a real life situation like yours is providing.

Just thought I would let you know on persons thoughts on that portion.

From what I've read, it's very quiet (This is from several reviews from different sites)

I had thought it might be a bit loud because it uses an 80mm fan to make sure the vrm/vram is kept cool as well as the gpu.

One review has stated that the noise was around 30dB, but they had the stock cooler rated at 35dB. I know my stock cooler has to run at 75% minimum to keep the card cool when it gets hot here in the summer, but it's too much noise for me, especially with my computer in the living room and people trying to watch tv while I game lol.

I've already purchased it, so I guess I'll find out. I'm really hoping it isn't going to be loud :( However, since the fan is pwm controlled, I should be able to control it with Precision without affecting the pump. If it does turn out to be a bit loud, I'll see if I can find a nice medium between volume and vrm temps.

I just wanted to update this thread because I totally forgot about it. I can't hear this thing at all set at 80% and it keeps the card very cool. Definitely one of the best gpu coolers out there that isn't a stand alone water cooling loop.

I suppose the only real issue I'll face is what to price my card at should I decide to sell it along with the cooler lol.
