Hey guys, I'm finally getting another 780ti and wanted a little advice from you guys. My setup currently includes a single 780ti SC ACX and 2 750tis. I also use my cards for mining and my temps are currently at: 780ti - 80C 750ti - 72C 750ti - 72C Should I go with another 780ti with ACX or switch to a reference SC model? I really don't want these cards to get too much hotter. Thanks, Ryan

I would definitely go with a reference model. You need to get that hot air out of your case.........unless you take your side panel off and point a small desktop type fan right at the cards. If you don't mind doing that, your temps will probably come down quite a bit, and the ACX cooler would be better.

Those temps are with fans at 100%, so taking the side panel off is not a good idea. My rig is also in my bedroom, so I really dont want the noise to be any louder when I sleep.

Then your answer would be to get a reference cooler design to exhaust that hot air out of the case instead of adding to it.

Get the 780ti on water ;) or at least that's what I'm doing. I'm Pleased with my 780Ti SC ACX, I have a hot 560Ti running with it, temps are 76c on the 780, 86c on the 560 running around 70-75% fan speed.

The only solution as previously mentioned is watercooling as that is the quietest solution.

I decided to go with the reference cooler for now, since I really need to start exhausting more heat out of the computer. I will probably be selling my 2 750ti's so I can eventually get 2 waterblocks for the GPU's. Boy do I miss water. I thought air was going to be a good idea, since I'm constantly moving my computer around(between college and home), but I really miss my extended OC potential on water and really miss the low temps. Water here I come!

Sweet! :D I'm trying to figure out what I'm getting still for water parts. Any advice? Never done a liquid build. In the thread here http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=2142565 If your selling those 750Ti's let me know :) Also I'll be glad to sell em back to ya as well once you get money build back up after the water phase. After I figure out my own water loop dilemma. lol

I actually just posted a PC in the market place. If you're interested, PM with the details, don't want to advertise here.

With 4 cards your probably going to have some serious heat issues since you are already running those things hot. ...I would try reference but you may need to go hydro...
