I saw the Hero 2 on sale at Costco for 200 today.

    they are very good cameras for what they are, I have about 5 of them, I use them all the time for my motocross films.

    Go Pro cameras are EPIC.  How they manage to stabilize some of the movement and vibrations I have yet to understand.

     
    Post processing can fix a lot of that. A simple hobby way of doing it is using vReveal.

    I'm used to using my Canon t2i for video. It's really ill suited for heavy video work but is good in short grabs. Most of my YouTube videos are shot on the t2i.

    The GoPro HERO3 Black Edition looks like something I could use.  I wouldn't mind getting that in the near future.

    The Hero3 is sweet in my opinion because it can shoot 4K. Even at 15FPS, that's still pretty awesome. Not to mention, 1080P @ 60FPS is ridiculous.

    I'm more impressed with the idea of 12mp at 30 fps than 4k at 15 fps. It just means you need to batch convert the pics into video after import though.

    these cameras are so sick a couple of my buddies have them and use the for snowboarding and get some great footage def would love to have one!!!

    lmao.. no!! so I can watch it at a later time, When I'm stressed out and avoid having to do it again. I can already feel the adrenaline pumping when I'm watching a 1,000 HP nova tear up the streets.
