I know I only just returned to folding. But just before I returned the fan on my power supply died and it is a non standard 135mm. My solution to keep my system running so that i could possibly do folding and basically still be able to use my computer was to duct tape another fan to the power supply to keep its airflow going. This was working for folding for the first week and a half and it has just now begun overheating while folding on both my gpus.

I will be buying a new CPU and mother board which is Socket 2011 and after I do this my priority will be to get a new PSU probably the Corsair AX1200i as I originally wanted to get an AX1200 to replace my Silverstone ST1000 which has the dead fan now. But the AX1200s are getting more and more scarce because the 1200i is newer.

I hope to be back to full power within a few months and Hopefully I will still be able to put money aside while starting to pay for student loans in June.

I have an Enermax PSU, that is doing the same thing. You can only do what you can. Thanks for being part of our TEAM.
