Hey eVGA-ers! Got tired of lookin' at the original side panel for my 690 II Adv. case, did some research, ordered what I needed and did it in a few hours this afternoon. Equipment used was: dremel, jigsaw, 4010 tape, molding tape with adhesive, and wife power (helped mark out the dimensions). Its my first true case mod, and although the panel will fit - the screws that hold it to the case don't go in all the way. I didn't move the acrylic over enough so it's kinda butting up against the case. I'm very happy though and it stays in place quite well. I do not have a picture of it actually mounted onto the case yet as it got dark pretty quick after I got it all together and the lightning in my living room is quite bad. I will take one tomorrow after work and post. Enjoy! Here's the link to album: http://danielxcloud.imgur.com/And here's some pics: Before (Original Case Panel with my marking tape): and After:

Thanks for responses!
I almost bought the side panel CM makes but I hate the acrylic mesh thing for the fan. Tooks a bit tacky (my opinion of course).
The imgur link I posted is everything I took on my phone, unfortunately I could not get it step by step due to having a rough time with the jigsaw.
Sinply, marked off my dimensions on painters tape, dremeled a slit in the middle to get the jigsaw in then carefully cut around the edges. Cut the acrylic out with a plastic blade with my dremel, got the acrylic for cheaper than online at home depot and it looks good. 4010 industrial mounting tape on back after running molding with adhesive I got from PerformancePC then dropped the acrylic cut out on top.
Posting from phone, so sorry if I botch up some spelling.
Ill post some pics tonight once I get off work.
Temps are the same, in fact even when I had 1 Scythe G on the original side panel neither GPU or CPU was different on idle or load then when I put my new panel on.

Looks great. I bought the CM window for both my 690II's, but agree about the fan mount. I have been looking at doing something similar since I have two original sides sitting in my closet, but haven't gotten around to it. Nice job.

The lighting is still bad here, its been overcast for the past few days now, and either with windows open or closed its still kinda bad with my camera phone (don't have another decent camera currently): Heres the panel on the box: I'm in the process of grabbing a H100 soon, and building myself a new box (using my current parts for my wife's new computer, just sold her old one) and I have already purchased 4xAP15's. But that will be for another thread.
