I have a EVGA 750i FTW (E175) SZ1K BIOS installed. I cant install any 64bit neither Vista or Windows7,
i get an error when installing Windows7 or Vista 64bit.
Windows vista and Windows7 and WindowsXP 32bit works just fine. when i do a fresh install
i boot windows7 or Vista 64bit dvd and after first loading screen come the error.

i also change some hardware like memory and harddrive and psu and vga card same error.
could be a bios error i think, please help

I found that the SZ1K BIOS made my system unstable. I flashed back to SZ17 and it's a totally different system - now totally stable. It may be worth a try if all else fails.

Enable APIC in the Bios. Let me know if that fixed the problem.

I'm happy I was able to solve your problem. Also, since you want to know what APIC *( Advanced Programmable Interrupt Controller) does, here's a brief explanation of it: *APIC is a chip that remaps IOs and IRQs of your computer to the CPU(s). Windows also uses APIC to configure IRQ's for the rest of the hardware. It eliminates IRQ conflicts and it makes many more IRQ's available. (If you have any more questions, then please feel free to post them. Anyone of us here in the forums will gladly help you). Take care!

This is an older thread, but I wanted to offer my thanks for providing this solution on the EVGA forums. I had the same problems (123-yx-e175 -SZ1G- nforce 750i SLI board, with upgraded Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550) and I was ready to reinstall Win7 or revert to my old Intel P4, until I found this gem of an idea.
My system appears to be behaving just fine now. My thanks to you XRayMan.
