It came out September 18, how is it possible to have already played 666 hours? 4 months about 120 days so that means about 2900 hours, take off a thousand for sleep so we have 1900 hours...that means about 1/2 his awake time is playing Borderlands 2. That's just excessive right there.

This is very true. I am having a blast playing a sniper rifle mained Siren. I do use mostly assault rifles as my offhand weapons though. Gotta say loving the Cataclysm tree so far.

The joke is that SBB must play games for a 9-5 job. The game was released September 18, 2012.

I'm surprising someone can put so many hours into such an utterly boring and mindless game.

I preordered it hoping it was something special since everyone always talked about it but frankly it was just an empty open world with nothing to do but shoot people. Not exactly fun.

You havn't played long enough then, lots of areas are open yes but thier is also lots of tight linear areas as well.

Not to mention this doesn't start off as bland and boring as BL1 did. Not sure how they managed it but the way the starter zones before the real meat of the game started just drew me in. Of course the fact Clap Trap is funnier in this one than in the first might be part of why. Seriously his evil laugh reminds me of Invader Zim's laugh. Also I have found myself using sniper rifles a lot on my characters. Fallout 3 and NV need to learn from BL2's sniper rifles....and assault rifles.

No, that's the last thing they should do. Fallout 3 and NV should stick with their mature and semi plausible weapon selections instead of downgrading to hideous pimped out guns that look like Nerf toys.

That's even worse then. I'm more than tired of linear FPS games, so if BL2 has linear combined with empty open world, then there's no reason for me to play any further. It was just a boring game, plain and simple.

That's how I feel about shooters like this too.  I'm glad I didn't buy BL2.
