Has anyone yet taken a look into this new release?

I'm in the process of looking into the x86_64 version of this and so far the improvements are fairly decent. The kernel they are using is based on the 3.4.x stable version. I decided to go KDE this time around for the window manager and so far I haven't run into quirks that I haven't been able to configure. I will have to disable and remove some of the installation defaults but overall so far it's a far step from the last time I looked into SuSe.

    I tried 12.1 but not 12.2 yet.

I will probably download it tonight.

So far I am finding it a bit faster than the previous 12.1 version release. At least on the virtual machine I have it running on. Of course it's currently setup for a desktop type environment and having to essentially remove server daemons allowed a bit more memory overhead. I definitely enjoy the KDE snappiness more than the Gnome Unity (or even Gnome Shell) response. Hopefully they will correct a few (if not all) the annoyances in the next iteration of Gnome but we'll see as the changes are pushed.
