The board has two integrated NIC cards and if I enable one of the two it causes the computer to freeze or randomly power off over time.

The error message I am getting in Windows Event Viewer is:

Error 6/21/2012 10:47:28 PM Service Control Manager 7001 None

The IP Helper service depends on the Network Store Interface Service service which failed to start because of the following error: The dependency service or group failed to start.

I wasn't sure before what was causing this but disabling NIC #1 has completely stopped the issue.

To troubleshoot this earlier today I tried a completely different build
All of the hardware was switched out from the original hardware that was being used with this board (different cpu/vid cards/psu/RAM... everything was changed out)
I re-installed a clean version of windows, all drivers are completely up to date on the board as well ass all other peripherals.

Has anyone else had this issue or seen something similar?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as I have no desire to RMA the board and have to go through another full install as well as rebuilding the computer

Thanks

I would look into 2 things.  The first is on your Windows Install.  1.
Make sure you have Jumbo Packets Set to 1514 Bytes, IPv6 turned off, Max IRQ per Sec to atleast 5500, and Receiver Buffers at 256 or more.  THis is under network adapter settings.
    2. Finally, it could be your ISP network and/or the Modem or possibly your router (if you have one).

Thanks for the help. I have basically given up on this board. RMA time. After getting the I/O errors seemingly in check the led on the board started kicking out FF errors, which is some sort of BIOS error. spent most of the day yesterday troubleshooting. Hopefully this gets resolved in a timely manner
