Yes, yes it's not for the street....but how I want this car, or to build a clone.
These things are nuts. Now Chevy is getting back in the action with the CoPo Camaro, and Dodge with the Challenger Drag Race Pack. The "Big Three" are pushing drag racing like they did in the 60's once again.

9.69 @ 140mph....very nice. Thanks for posting. I love the looks of the Camaro as a race car, but not a street car.

Definitely a Powerglide. The Cobra Jet come with either a C4 - 3 speed or a C2 - 2 speed with trans-brake.

lencos are fun but man they are pricey, my dad had a four speed with a reverser gear in a 84 dodge daytona racecar. it would stand on the bumper 1/3 of the way down the track. and larry larson is wicked, seen him a few years ago out at Norwalk in the HR fastest street car comp.

I used to love watching and fallowing hot rods fastest street car pro steet racing but any more they have gotten so high dollar that they squeezed the regular joe out, now pinks was fun to watch. true weekend warriors.
