Simple question regarding vram.

If I get another gtx 560 ti for SLI will the extra vram be detected by my games? Sorry if it's such a noob question.

Intel Core i7 6700k @ 4.0 GHZ
Evga z170 FTW
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDr4 3200
Evga Gtx 1070 FE

    No, it doesn't work like that. If your card has 1GB VRAM, and you add a second card, your VRAM limit will still be 1GB.

    that sucks. Kinda figured. Well that brings me to another question. Does a gtx 560 ti sli setup get any stutter when playing crysis 2 dx11? I know that game uses a lot of vram. One way I play the game is to reduce the resolution to 1280x1024 and it runs like butter. I think I would get the same amount of frames on 1080p if I throw in another card for SLI but will the stutter go away? Anyone??
