This is what you will need: A Phillips screwdriver, a scotch brite pad(this you can get from your local automotive store) or use 360grit sandpaper,a butter knife or something small to pry with, and last but not least paint of your choice.

Next gather all your speakers together. *Note:I did not paint the sub woofer ring on the sub*

Now tour going to want to take off the speaker grill, to do this simply slide the butter knife in slowly and pry all away around the speaker. *Make sure to take your time*

Once you pry all around the speaker it should be separated like this. *you may have to pull with your fingers to get this big of a separation*

Here is the center speakers grill removed.

As you can see with the speaker girl removed, it is time to remove the screws. As you can see there are six screws that need to be removed, make sure not to drop any:D

Now very carefully separate the casing from the front white piece*be careful as the wires attached to the speakers are short* Also i find it easy if you tip the speakers face down, it will pretty much slide apart.

Now flip the panel that holds the speakers face down and remove the 2 screws  from each speaker*note their are 2 screws per speaker so you should have a total of 4 removed from each speaker*

Here is the front panel with the speakers removed.

Its hard to see but the speakers front panel has a bevel, This is what where going to paint, First you want to scuff if with a scotch brite pad or sand it with 360 grit sandpaper, the reason behind this is so the paint has something to stick to. After you have scuffed wipe it down and paint the inner bevel*note it is not necessary to tape off as the speaker grills cover the over spray*  Now when you paint the inner bevel you want to hold the spray paint can 4-8 inches away from the surface and make sure you paint in light coats, cure time will vary on paint manufacturers. Some can be cured in 30 mins others take up to an hour.

Now i will show you how to take apart the front speaker with the controls.

First separate the top half of the speaker with the butter knife, also beware you take this speakers grill off in two parts.

This is what the speaker looks like with the top half of the speaker removed(the grill) Next is to remove the black cover, this is really simple just pry a little with a butter knife.

This is what you will end up with, Now separating it is the same way almost as doing the other speakers, just make sure you separate it slowly and have patience.

Note Ideal temperatures to paint in are 55-65 F

Now , I did not take apart every other speakers(the only one's I show taking apart is the one with the volume controls and the center speaker) The reason being is that the other speakers are taken apart the same was you take apart the center speaker. Also the painting process is the same for all the speakers. But just so were clear I will go over the process of painting the inner bevel.
Step 1: After dissembling the speakers scuff or sand each one of the inner bevels.(scuff with scotch bright pad or with 360 grit sandpaper)
Step 2: Wipe down the scuffed or sanded parts
Step 3: Find a well ventilated room to paint in(always were a respirator)
Step 4: Place your parts on a piece of card board or paint table
Step 5: Shake can of paint really well
Step 6: Spray the parts (hold can away from surface 4-8 inches)*spray light coats, to wet and you'll get runs*
Step 7: Inspect parts to make sure their covered and no white is showing*if fully covered let them dry for at least one hour is what i recommend.
Step 8: Reassemble everything*reassembly is reverse of hos you took everything apart*
Step 9:Finned project
