I just got my new card today, the GTX560 ti, and after putting it in I get a black screen with beeping sounds from my computer. I tried putting my old card back in to see it that still worked but just a black screen. Anyone know what the problem is? Thanks in advance.
And here is my computer specs if it helps in anyway.
Core 2 Quad 2.33ghz Q8200
Corsair VX550w
9800GT (Old Card)
GTX 560 ti (New Card)
Motherboard IPIBL-LB (I think)

Are you sure that your monitor is still on DVI or whatever kind of cable you're using? Just checking. Once I went from HDMI to DVI, and forgot about switching my monitor.

Because if you go back to your old card, it should surely work still...

Well on my old card I switched between VGA and DVI to 2 different monitors. When I still had my old card in place, I was using DVI and when I installed my new card I hooked up only the DVI.

Hmm... And the PCI-e cables are still connected to the PSU good? And I guess you also have the card in the first slot?

Hmm, sorry I can't be of help... Maybe someone else will chime in... It nearly sounds like your PSU, but surely it can't be, that'd be a one in a million odds for it to go out, right when you got a new card.

Does this have anything to do with the drivers perhaps? I never did remove the drivers from my old card.

Well... You could install the old card, and go remove the drivers. But usually it isn't that whatever about booting. Maybe could you re-install the old card, boot in safe more atleast, remove drivers, then reboot with the new card?

It'd be best to remove the drivers while in regular Windows, BUT IF you can't boot, try safemode, then delete old drivers.

F8 for win 7 and most OS to get to safe mode, just press f8 when you restart tap on not hold until it comes up.. If it doesn't boot then might be a power issue, make sure you plugged everything in... And when you installed your new video card did you make sure to ground yourself and touch something metal before touching your motherboard? If you didnt sometimes you can short your motherboard by a electric shock from your body to your fingers, Ive done it before with my old motherboard....

^^^I've did that to some memory before. I NEVER do anything to my rig anymore, unless I have my anti-static wrist-strap on.

I tapped f8 continuously to get into safe mode but nothing shows up on my screen. I have to keep holding the off button to shut down.

Sounds like power issue.. Make sure 24-pin is connected securely. If so, I would try another PSU...

I really can't afford buying another PSU since I just bought this card which was $300. Also I have 2 6pin pin cords that have the letters PCI-E on them. I'm assume these should be for the card. These two cords come straight from the PSU.

Not even a bio's screen pops up?? try doing this, hold down your power button and when it shuts off, turn off your power supply and leave it about 10 min so all power is gone, then turn your power supply back on. turn your pc on and if it boots up... and when installing your new video card did you unplug anything besides the pci power connectors??

I don't understand what you mean by "did you unplug anything besides the pci power connectors?".
I unplugged everything from my computer before even taking out my old card.

Okay lets back up a bit. We can eliminate drivers period as those are not even loaded until the OS loads. When you power on, what indications are you getting? Lights? Fans, hard drives spinning up? Lights on optical drives? Give a more detailed description. We can't see what it's doing.

Everything is spinning with lights on. DVD drive has lights and works, all fans working, HDD spinning.

    8pin? Its a gtx560 ti. It uses 2x 6pin I think.
Does this have anything to do with the mini hdmi supplied with the card? I'm gonna try it out. Didn't work.
