Looking to spend less then $60 on a dedicated sound card.
My board is an ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 and i want to get an entry level card so replace on-board audio.

Would like for it to be a Plug n' play compatible (if possible)
Easily be noticeably superior then on-board audio.
No driver issues (I hate hearing horror story's with sound card drivers)

My current 2.1 channel speakers are better for gaming then music. So i would like a card geared more towards music and clarity.

Any suggestions?

People have said there are issues with the recon, but I can't give specifics. I use the Soundblaster live 24 bit, and it's a great card. It is now the Soundblaster audigy. For sale at most places for $30. You must have a pci slot for it, which your mobo has. sound quality is much better than onboard. There are windows 7 drivers for it.
