I have a 790i ultra and a q6600 g0. In this system I have three identical bfg tech 8800's. A rosewill 750w psu. Six sata hard drives three raptor and three 750 western digital drives. Along with seven 120mm fans and six cold cathodes. I list everything hoping more information about the system will help.

Problem: Whenever I power the system on everything will run for about two seconds and then power off. After this I have to unplug power and hold down the power button to even get the system to power on again. Any ideas on what I could try?

That's a LOT of draw. Look into delayed spinup for your disk drives. Look to spread them over multiple rails, that is, don't run all of them from a single line of molex/sata connectors.

My WAG is they are hitting your powersupply ALL together. Some current or thermal limiter shuts everything down.
