Ok, I posted once about a problem with temps on my cpu. I fixed that when I realized the voltages were way too high for stock settings. I'm either wanting to get a watercooling system, or a new monitor(which I'm desperately in need of upgrading). The reason I'm tempted to get water cooling is because I want to overclock. On the other hand, a G90f monitor isn't the greatest for gaming anymore, and I can't take advantage of HD games. :(

Also, toss me some awesome monitors for gaming for fps's and the like.

Opinions, pros vs cons?

you got a CRT bro?

monitor!!

you can have quad SLI , if your monitor is crappy, your not seeing the visual goodness.
overclocks helps you by some %'s maybe 10% at most if you spend over 100 bucks on water cooling . remember that % isnt overall, just for a single componenet, which doesnt add up to 10% better Frame rate maybe a 1% or 2% depending on game/application

get yourself a 212+, get a Hanspree monitor or acer be happy

Stay away from Acer monitors since their competition always bring better color quality.  I recommend looking at Dell, ASUS, LG and Samsung monitors.  I use a Dell ST2310 that I got for $130 a year or two ago and it's quite nice, although if you want something really nice, go for a Dell UltraSharp (U2410 is on my list).

You don't need a water cooling system to overclock.  Drop in a $30 Cooler Master Hyper 212+ and you'll be impressed as long as you install it and the thermal paste properly.

With that in mind, I'm leaning towards grabbing this along with the 212.... I just wish they wouldn't throw speakers on a monitor as an after thought >_<

Anyone know of a comparable monitor that doesn't have speakers?

The day of the ordering nears(possibly end of this week), and a few new contestants have hit the shelves.

I'm really enjoying the idea of this one.

The only other one I would consider would be this one..
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-P2770FH-27-Inch-Monitor-Black/dp/B0047A5QNK/ref=sr_1_10?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1317753021&sr=1-10

I am truly tempted with the 27" with the one exception that I've read that they tend to stretch noticeably when in 1920x1080 res.

My only wish is that they were 120hz.
