I'm planning to do a system build, but I don't plan on doing any overclocking just yet. (Kind of scared to.)  I'm wondering if I should go with 1333 RAM or 1600 RAM.  This is what I have so far:

Antec 300 case
Intel i7-920 at stock speeds
Jetway mobo (I plan to upgrade to either an ASUS or EVGA mobo.)
8gb 1066 dual channel ram
NVIDIA GTX 260 (I plan to upgrade to a GTX 295.)
OCZ 500 watt psu (which i plan to replace once i do the upgrade.)

I could use some real help with this because I have heard that the i7 920 doesnt fully utilize 1600 ram.  But i did some looking on newegg and 1333 ram is more expensive than 1600 ram. Im looking to get 12GB Corsair XMS3 ram. 1333 price is 375 and 1600 is 340.

    get the 1600 ;)
Even if you dont use it, it will give you the headroom to clock higher if you want to later.

Thanks. Any tips on overclocking my processor with the stock fan?  I've never done it before and I don't want to ruin my processor.  Explain it to me like I'm 5 years old then maybe I'll better about it.

I don't advise you overclock with stock cooling to be safe.

I would get 1600 since the price different isn't that much -- unless you are tight on budget.
