nview display problem. A new 8400gs installed in July 2011. XP PRO media center computer, everything up to date. No gaming – used for playback of recorded shows.  I am using a HMDI cable. Problem = When I clone to the tv the setting (clone) will not stay set. The setting will revert to single display at random. May even switch to single display during a playback of recorded show. Resolutions are set the same on both displays. I can open taskbar icon and change the setting to clone from single display. Latest drivers for installed from Nvidia installed (280.26).
Any ideas
Thanks or any input

    Thanks for the reply.....
I think I have it cured. I had installed a Ultra High Performance HDMI Switcher () when I changed to the hdmi cable. The idea was to switch automatically from the PC output and the DVD output. It would switch when it sensed a source on either input. That worked great, but when the PC & TV was cloned it would revert back to single display on the PC at random. I took the switcher out of the system and the PC & TV has stayed cloned for over 2 days.
Will see what happens, but seems to be working now without the switcher.
    Thanks again
