GTX 460 Warranty

Hi EVGA-Community,
 
I have heard in a german forum, that i don't loose the warranty when i remove the cooler from my GTX 460 and put new and better thermal grease on the gpu. is that true?

    This is true, you do not lose your warranty. Tho, if time comes, you will need to put the stock cooler back on before you send them the card.

    Not a problem! Hopefully it'll run cooler!
    I've never done it to my GPU, tho i have done it everywhere else possible lol.

    As long as you don't physically damage your card in the process, you're in the clear.
