Project Codename: Optimus Prime I am currently in process of building an SR-2 machine. This has been an approximately 5-month long build. The computer will primarily be used for Gaming, Work, Folding@Home, Photoshop, and VM. I am not a rich man, this build has been very tough financially, often leaving myself in poverty until the next paycheck. I am not a huge Transformers fan, however the overall color scheme matched what I was going for in this build, throw in the "kick-ass" factor of Optimus Prime, and we have ourselves a build name. Other names that were considered included "Alienator" - which describes my relationship with my wife since parts have started arriving in the mail! I hope to have the build completed sometime Mid-Late January, if all goes well. I will attempt to summarize the build via a parts list followed by pictures below. Please check back in the near future as I will be adding additional photos, as well as responding to any questions and/or comments anyone may have. Very, very sick build. I'm also putting together an SR-2 build for the new year and this provides a outstanding baseline. Thanks, good luck with the build.

Thanks for the replies guys! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! I was able to get some cable sleeving done over the Holiday weekend (Fans/Fan Controllers/Pumps), and I will post pictures of progress later today. I purchased Techflex "Clean Cut" from EBAY Member: "Furryletters", which several people on the forums here have dealt with. He provides great sleeving at an excellent price! I highly recommend him...Also if you e-mail him with a custom order, he will send you a discounted invoice via Paypal, which saves both parties money! The sleeving is great too, very easy to work with, and very difficult to see through! I also got the 4 pumps mounted to the 2 Bitspower tops and the mod kits installed, so pumps are completely ready to test.

Are you going to be actively using the memory LED thing? I'm not sure if that'll look that great in the build and there's not too much application for it.

@Scottalot - Yeah the memory LED is purely eye candy, I got them 20% off and figured I would give it a shot...may end up selling. @iancook221188 - #1: I am hoping to create 2 stripes (2 x 2x1.5 GB). Used for program, game, media storage etc. I just need large volumes. #2: I originally intended to use 3 3x120MM radiators, however when I was in the early planning stages I posted for suggestions on the forums here, and Liu Kang suggested that I increase my radiator coverage as it might be a strain to ever expand for future applications. I will be water cooling the motherboard chipset, 2 processors, and 3 video cards. Overkill is apparently not in Liu Kang's vocabulary! - Or mine!

HOly balls man! awesome hardware! EK must love you. Im sure a single PSU would suffice for this, but to each his own. your temps should be amazing! If you are going to be using multiple monitors and atleast a single 120hz one, I would urge you to go either 2d or 3d surround. It seems a bit of a waste to have all those monitors and not utilize surround

Cost? Do I even want to know? Can I have?.... Can I work with you? Seriously... its bad for me to look on here... Working part time and going to school and all. Can I remote in to play games? I doubt you would notice. Want to seem more, makes me think and wish.
