Hi all.. well first of all when i run my resolution at PC 1680x1050 using HDMI it runs very smoothly.. when i switch the resolution on HD1920x1080p using HDMI the screen gets all cracky and blurry and the contrast/brightness is high.

when i switch using VGA and run HD1920x1080p it runs very very smooth is there anyone out there familiarized with screen resolutions?? why does the HDMI doesn't run quite good as the VGA??

is there anything that i need to adjust to make it smooth i thought HDMI auto detects everything??

All the computer info is on my signature.

Archie.

If your using a TV that could be your issue. Depending on brand video card you use (AMD or Nivida) thier will be options to fix that.

on my AMD card it has HDTV options i had to change to get my picture to show up clear and correct. one if the issues it was set to underscan by default, I had to remove that and than go into my TV settings and change how my TV showed the picture.

I see y our also using a 32" TV so you are going to need to play with the picture settings to get the correct picture. It does not take into account that on a computer all the picture needs to be seen. TV;s will often cut out the sides of the picture, And computers try to make up for this by default by srinking the picture, and with that it makes it blurry.

I have the LG LE5300 32" 120Hz LED and from the start it was perfect with no adjustments. It may be the quality of the TV and burning_kittins may also be right about some settings in both the TV and VC...
