Never again will I buy from EVGA I have been using their video cards for at least 10 years and they used to make great products. My first GTX 460 had problems from day one after a year of head aches and constant driver re-installs I RMA'ed it only to get another defective GTX 460.
The first GTX 460 was confirmed by EVGA's tech that the video card was bad and the replacement one they sent died after 4 months. I am not going to go through the RMA process again just to receive another bad GTX 460.

I ordered a competitors GTX460 as a replacement and should be here tomorrow. Sorry Evga but I can't throw $260.00 in the trash and hope your replacements will fix the problem when you send out defective video cards.

Before you fan boys start blaming me or my computer go troll elsewhere. My PC is fine, and my driver installation process is the same as EVGA advises.

The 460's seem to have more than their share of problems.
    What competitor did you choose?

Gigabyte Z590 Vision G Mobo, intel i3 10105 CPU, 32GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR4 3200 RAM, EVGA GTX 750ti FTW Video Card, EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 power supply, Fractal Design Focus G (White) case, Cooler Master Hyper212 RGB Black CPU cooler. 2 Dell LED Monitors (20" & 24"), SK Hynix Gold 1TB SATA SSD (OS Drive), 6 WD HDDs 13TB total (Storage).
Rig is a partial update on the old Gigabyte P43/Q6600 OC rig... The WD HDD's, (13TB, total), Blu-ray & DVD burners,  GTX750ti FTW & Supernova 850 G2 psu, migrated from old setup... Will get an 11700K, and an RTX 3060 12GB Black card, when I'm ready to OC... Windows 11 Pro set for performance, and it runs at 4.2Ghz...
    Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Wheel/Pedals,
Built for Gaming, Video Production, and Cakewalk, Cubase DAWs...

So you spent $200 in lieu of RMA'ing the second card?  If you have to RMA that Asus don't expect better service.

It's unfortunate you got two bum cards.  At least RMA the second card, test it, then sell on fleabay to recoup some cost... good luck.

Not to rub salt, but if you had looked a bit you'd see that you could have had a GTX560 Ti for less than you paid for that GTX460:

Well maybe us "fanboys" should point out that all reference Nvidia cards are pretty much the same. You're paying for customer service and support. I'm sorry that you've had bad luck with your GTX 460's but there are many of us who havent had any issues.

You tell us that your PC is not at fault but have you tested the card in another computer? We can help you troubleshoot it.

Just got my Asus GTX 460 and man is it cool! I am happy with my purchase and will never look back. EVGA customer service is top notch and I will give credit where credit is due. After two hardware failures I feel more comfortable moving on. Thanks for the advice. Peace!

You should still consider a second RMA and request shipping assistance.
