Well I was looking in my case the other day, and seen how ugly the chrome thumb nuts were, well IMO they're ugly in chrome, they stand out too much. I looked online, and found this, but I thought "Dang, they're ripping so many people off for just the color choice." So I got the spray paint out, got a finger nail file, and roughed up the top on the thumb nuts, then sprayed them flat black.

    I have thought about doing that to mine, but figured I would wait till I upgrade my CPU first though.

    Yeah, that's what I did. I sold my Nickel HF Supreme for a copper version, then switched my acrylic top to my new block, and painted those, while I was switching from my i7-960, to my new Xeon W3520.
     
    Looks alot better with the lights on! The chrome just shined too much, and I just hate chrome.

    Hmm I should take some of my modeling enamel and paint mine Red to go with the black block!

    nothing a little spray cant fix =) i have done little things like this so often i cant count.
