I got rid of fast pool cause they kept on locking out the web interface each time a block was found. (it got annoying) I use hashfaster now. https://doge.hashfaster.com

Getting the same problem here, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm sure it'll be back up soon enough, with your coins in-tact.

Someone over on reddit made a pi graph of all the pools' hashrates. If you guys are considering new pools, this might help you out. It includes multipool when it is mining dogecoin:

thats a good chart, another reason I chose hashfaster is because its a good balance of share/s and block find time since it only has 5000 members, I get much better payouts on it because of this. Currently I get around 10,000 dogecoin a day with 1200 KH/s hashrate

So, is it more ideal to be in a pool with higher overall hasrate? Is your share lower?

share is lower cause it's being spilt between more members yes. its why you want that balance of share/s vs number of members vs block find time. alot of people think a higher overall hashrate and more members on a pool = faster payout, its not true cause the share is lower

As I've read it before on reddit, smaller pools will pay out larger sums less frequently and larger pools will have smaller frequent payouts. Over time they should both average out to be the same, although there is still debate on this as a smaller pool could get "lucky", finding blocks more frequently than expected. In the end though, if you mine long enough it should average out. Edit: Fast-pool's site is back up here.

it ussually isn't, opens instantly most of the time, just slow today for some odd reason. edit: they are doing maintenance right now, the servers are still running so I'm still getting credit during the website downtime.

I was at fast pool, then it went down and had problems with the interface. Then switched to multi-pool but was getting high rejects from their servers and couldn't figure it out. After that went to suchcoins and now I'm finally at dogehouse. Personally, dogehouse has been the best to date. As suchcoins was good on the mining, they have the website to go down if the load is too much and it was very frustrating at times.

If Dogehouse weren't down from the NTP DDoS attack, I would still be mining there. fast-pool is my backup, and it's usually solid. I don't mind the interface being down for PPLNS calcs, personally. As long as I can see the hashrate on my miners and some sign from the pool that it's still alive, I'm content knowing I'm still getting my Doge ;D This list of dogecoin mining pools is updated relatively frequently, and has a nice summary of everything from hashrate to fees.

I ran a quota of 1:1 against HashFaster and Doge.Netpool at the same time (so the diffs were the same). After 24 hours, I had about 15 to 20% more in Netpool than HashFaster. Just FYI. Everyone's mileage will vary. I don't mind the 2% fee, as long as I keep getting more DOGE.

well it depends on luck as well, sometimes its lower then 10,000, as eduncan said it varrys day by day. (due to the network difficulty and current block thats being worked on)
