I just finished the Dima memory part and I actually really enjoyed that mini game. Very fun. Also a pretty tricky way into squishing much more time to advertise the content length. Not sure what decision to make but that was fun.

I am working towards that quest now. Is Nick needed in that mission? I ask only because I am tired of him.
Nick: "Being a detective is hard work."
Me: "So is being an adventurer and taking bullets to the knees."

That is a good question. I know he plays a fairly big part of the story but not sure he is really "needed" I just took him because of the advise of others. I used a save and left a certain building that had a certain sub with a nuclear missile firing and did so with only a few seconds left. The sight of Nick spawning out of the door on his butt was classic and I hope some rubble fell on his head. He didn't seem real happy. I went back and did the "please everyone and try not to kill" approach.

I guess I'll keep Nick until I complete the Synth quests. After that, he's fired.

I see TT's special sniper rifle and I can't justify the cost to what I am carrying now. Correct me if I'm wrong but Tom's rifle is already tricked out anyway and has no room for improvement.

The Overseer's Guardian weapon? Where is that located?

Overseer's Guardian is in the Vault where you found Curie. I buy all Legendary weapons. Nick saw the Mysterious Stranger twice when he was with me. He says, "That was him. Did you see him"? No further dialogue options after that. I see more and more of his face as time goes by. He had a mustache kind of like Steve Carlton in the 1970's when he pitched for the Phillies. He had light brown hair too. It's probably Deacon using all of his disguises but IDK for sure. I can never catch him anyway. Hmmm, maybe I am a Synth like Dima suggested and the Mysterious Stranger is the real human me? Nah! Ridiculous.

Looks like I'll be paying someone a visit then.

Very cool. I thought I was just about done with Far Harbor. I haven't seen a DLC with so much content... well... ever.

They compared this to Oblivion's Shivering Isle and said that particular DL had more content.

There's a bit of a puzzle that goes with that room. I thought there was supposed to be more in there than what I found when I finally got in. I might have it confused with 'Dima's Stash'.

So there are 2 treasure rooms then. Was the loot any good?

I'm not reading any of that stuff... LALALALALALA... I cant hear you.

On another note, figured out a way to make nice and neat power lines in my settlements without resorting to super cheat methods.  First, I have a mod that allows me to make my power lines 3x longer than vanilla.  Then I take a power/telephone pole and stick power conduit on that.  No more drooping powerlines attached to numerous short and ugly metal power poles.

I think it was Dima's Stash on the western side that had all of the raw materials for building. I don't have any quests right now so I'm just travelling around fixing my settlements. One thing I did learn was that my Explosive Combat Shotgun is a lot of fun against Ghouls but not ideal for use in close quarters like Hangman's Alley. I got a call for help and forgot to change weapons. I noticed that for every Super Mutant I wasted I also took out two of my settlers. Bummer! I repaired all of the damage done by the Super Mutants before I arrived but the Happiness was on the decline along with the population. LOL  Stuff happens. Shawn made me a Wazer Wifle with all of the junk parts he was asking me to get for him. Really not a bad weapon although I have better. I made it 'full auto' just because but it can't compare to my 'Overcharged Plasma Sniper Rifle'.

I found an explosive mini gun and even without any upgrades, that thing makes the game almost too easy. Aside from chewing up ammo, it is awesome. I can air juggle enemies 100 feet in the air until they are just chunks. LOL. Just found the map for that treasure hunt and 2 journal entries. I fixed the pump thing at one of the stations and found a locked door at number 2. I applaud the effort they put in to Far Harbor, I have gotten quite a few hours out of it so far.

IDK, I just killed everyone in Covenant and then went into the tunnels and killed all of the Covenant Security Guards along with the doctors in there. I only left that one girl alive that keeps yelling, "I'm not a Synth". IDK what else to do with her. She won't talk to me and won't leave. I hope I don't need any of them people later in the game. Oops, oh well.

You may want to check out the newest beta update as there is something in there regarding mods and achievements. I just glanced at it so I can't say more than that.

I like that. Building is fun. Never get enough material.

The Assassins shotgun is my primary close and personal choice against the ghouls. It literally sends them flying. Those big, bloated ghouls are a little bit harder to deal with but a couple extra rounds does the trick. LOL

Slice and dice 100 feet in the air? Isn't that a bit on the over kill side of things?  LOL

You'll be alright. I left the doctor alive. She's got her nose in the clouds. She's high maintenance this one. LOL

You'll have to get rid of the current gun turrets though if you haven't done so.

The best way to deal with the big bloated charcoal ghouls is to blow their legs off. Then they can't reach you. It'll still take a lot of ammo to kill them but they just lay there on the ground squirming like a worm. The Doctor showed up as 'green' in VATS but I killed her anyway. I just picked up a magazine somewhere that gave me a 'Turrect Hack Perk' but I couldn't hack those turrets in Covenant. I couldn't repair the old turrets or knock them off of their pedestal either. I was outside planting new turrets and I heard Cait shooting it out with someone so I went inside and killed the only person I saw. When I looted him it said "Settler". Oops, I think I killed my first Settler to Covenant.

Been down that road with those ghouls many a time like that. And that "I dare you" look that they give you after both legs are gone. I just smile and blast away. LOL

The old turrets were and are a pain because you can't do anything with the remains except watch them smoke.

Remove the bodies from inside Covenant and drag them down to the river and leave them there. After a period of time you can loot them again. Just allow a little time to pass before doing so again.

Just hold 'E' to pick them up? I always have problems with that so I just leave them there. I think corpses give a place character and serve as a warning to others if they don't feel like working. Why can't the settlers move them? Maybe they're eating them and they don't want them moved. Did you ever think of that?

Cursor on the item, press and hold the E button. Attempt to move them while still holding the E button. When item (body) starts moving then release the E button and move to where you want to go. Move item (body) slow or you will lose it and have to repeat it. To drop item (body) press and release the E button. Tip: Raise item (body) high in the air and move to your destination. This allows you to avoid many items located on the ground and reduces the contact which can make contact and cause you to lose item.

I do that when there are a lot of enemy to get rid of. LOL

Walking in the tunnels and other areas of some buildings there will be a vapor that is seen. Don't stand in there and shoot as this will set that vapor off and explode. It's fun when against Ghouls as it will kill them or damage them severely. LOL

I always ignite the vapors and send them to Ghoul Heaven. Ha ha. I played through the 'ransacked relay' mod I installed yesterday. Not too bad except for the Mirelurk Queen at the end of the Subway mission. I have no active quests and I am tired of saving Synths for Harrington. I also turned down a mission from PAM to wipe out another BOS patrol. No repurcussions from that yet. I just travel from settlement to settlement setting up Supply Lines, adding Defenses and blowing up any cars I come across. It's a boring life in The wasteland of The Commonwealth at times like this. Cait and I are still running around testing all of the mattresses to make sure the springs don't squeak. You can never be too careful when it comes to a quiet mattress.

I did everything on the Island. Ran into someone names Colette in Diamond City who attacked me for killing someone she knew. Everyone in Diamond City attacked me too! I had to load a Save to go back into Home Plate and start again. I need to snipe good old Colette before that happens again. Maybe if I find her in Goodneighbor the results will be different.

That someone she knew was the sweet, loveable, innocent, virgin Collette that gave you her heart. And to think that you were afraid of Caite. LOL

I did a search on that. From what I've read, you have a problem. It will be interesting to see what you do on this one. It would appear that this was a side quest that involved a drug deal and Colette's father. I'll leave it at that.

I think it was the bar fight in Diamond City where the bartender paid me to get his brother or something to stand up to some bullies. Cait got carried away and I went along for the ride. LOL   End result: two dead bullies! I had to rescue someone who was kidnapped by the dead bullies pals. More dead bullies. Ha! Colette has confronted me more than once but I just used my wit and charme to dialogue my way out of it. Now I am out of that option and I will have to fight her. I just don't want to do it in front of such a big crowd.

I have a really bad habit of doing this.  I'll be walking along and see a couple of unexploded cars. Well why not?   BOOM!

I've been doing this with BOS vertibirds a lot lately as well.

As a side note, I finally made it into the Institute.   My overwhelming initial urge is to shoot the lot of them.  Manipulative buttheads.

Lights were out for about 45 minutes. All is well this morning. Everything was off when it happened. I didn't even know it was raining that bad. I just got tired of gaming for the night. Cait and I are back doing quests for the BOS for now. Now that I think about it, I blew up a car once and there was a Provisioner on the other side. I killed its Brahmin and boy were they mad!!!  They were yelling and shooting at me for the longest time. I knocked Valentine on his butt doing that too once and he took a long time to get up.

Explosive Shotgun time...
