Hi, I recently noticed that if I use a custom fan curve (even a preset one, like "stealth", to make the card cooler in idle, instead of the fan stop), when I resume my pc from standby, it reboots completely after 5-10 seconds of black screen (trying to correctly resume I guess). If I disable the "fan curve control" tick in evga precision x1, the problem fixes.
I've another problem too: even disabling csm support, I still hear (during boot) one long beep, followed by 3 short, this should mean something like "card not recognized", but the system boots normally.
And lastly, sometimes when I switch to fullscreen (with videos or games), the monitor became black and any input is useless, even if the sound keeps going, so I have to force the shut down.
Under load temps are 78-80°, pretty high but not something to worry about, no?

Already tried a complete driver reinstall, i was wondering if everyone here has these problems too and what should i do? rma? or is something fixable via software?
Here's the pc specs:
i7 8700k
Asus Maximus X Hero
4x8gb corsair vengeance rgb 3000mhz
Evga RTX 3080 xc3 ultra (no further oc applied, just the stock one)
Corsair RM1000 (used for two years with a 2080 and the same pc and no problems, so I dont think it's the cause)

P.S. Sorry for my bad English :c

I would highly recommend you to use two separate power cables from your power supply, and not the linked, or daisy chained cable shown there.

thank you, I did it, but this not fixed the issue with the fan and the reboot after standby, that looks definitely like a software problem. I rly hope im not the only one having this :'c and that evga'll fix it soon (I had another random black screen tho)

Have you tried to completely uninstall the nvidia drivers with DDU, and then reinstall ?

This is an issue with precision X1, close Precision down and I bet you can go into sleep and wake up no problem.

If this is your issue, PLEASE MAKE A TICKET WITH EVGA

This problem won't be resolved of people don't report it.

Yes, I have the same problem with X1. Exit that software, it sleep/hibernates and wakes up fine. If X1 is running, it crashes on wake. Extremely annoying.

Have you tried to uncheck the "fan curve control", then apply and save? This is the problem, not the entire x1 software, only this settings that breaks windows. If I uncheck it, even with x1 opened I can sleep and wake up normally (but, unchecking it, the fans stop spinning at low temps and the vga remains on 50-60° in idle or during videos). Submit a ticket btw, I'll do that too, maybe evga will fix this (they can, for example, auto-disable the fan curve setting right before the sleep and auto-enabling it right after the wake up)

Yep, the problem is with the custom fan profile. Set it to Auto and the computer wakes up normally.

Apparently it was reported as known Nvidia driver issue.

Hopefully Nvidia to fix this in the latest release driver for 3060TI....

Yes but "auto" makes the card nearly melt during idle, because EVGA's engineers live in Antarctica.
