Hi all,
I have an Asus maximus 12 extreme and a Supernova t2 1600w psu. What kind cable should I use from my psu to eatx 12v motherboard connector for multi gpu build?
Thanks for any advice.

For the power connector below the expansion slots along the bottom edge? That's 4-pin molex.

Hi, no I mean the upper left connector near the edge of mobo, zoomed in your photo and called eatx 12v.

For those you'll want to use EPS cables, those have a CPU label on the connectors.

Ok thanks, for a second gpu (2080ti) should I also use the other nearest eatx connector on the mobo?

The ones on the top are for CPU power, at least one is mandatory for a system to run, but you have two cables so you can use both, but either way it is irrelevant how many videocards you have running in your system. The bottom one for supplementary PCI-e power, and it is optional, but if you have multiple cards installed it will offload the 12V line off the primary ATX 24 pin connector. For videocards you'll want to use PCI-e power cables, with VGA labels on the connectors. PCI-e power and EPS power cables use different connectors, you can't interchange them.
