What a brilliant idea, thankyou EVGA.
I have just signed up for notifications for the two top 3080 cards also the 3080 Black. The 2080ti Black with the EVGA Hybrid Water cooler was the best 2080ti I had and I had a few :)

So 9/17 is getting contacted already it seems? I have 9/21 on the 3080 ftw3 ultra so hopefully not too long but i have 10/6 on the 3090 ftw3 ultra as a backup

Maybe the "No" means they have not sent you the notification yet of it being available? I just checked mine for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra and it says "No" also for Notify Sent.

The no means that they haven't sent you the notification that you can make the purchase yet.

Well the 8 hours is up now and couldn't get it thanks to fraud protection. Today is also my birthday and got lucky with the email but I guess I'm just left empty handed yet again ;-;
Did you bother to contact your card provider? That is their business not evga. If you would have contacted them they would have asked you to verify that the charge was yours. You would say yes. They would then say ok thank you we will mark the vendor as safe tell them to put the charge through again and it would have worked. Posting here about your card not working right and complaining about evga won’t fix the problem.

Thank you! I could confirm my notification for the XC3 Ultra was made on 9/17 so I should expect an email maybe within two weeks! Also, for the FTW3 Ultra was done on 9/27.... that one should take longer I believe, but I also believe FTW3 line is more popular so those are made more often.. what to do? what to do?.... could I buy both on their respective lines and return the one I don’t want to keep for a refund? What’s the policy on that?

9/17/2020 7:22:08 AM on the ftw3 ultra.... I'm really hoping I get it.... I wanted that or founders. With Thanksgiving and Christmas will have some days off to enjoy cyberpunk... Between the business and baby, the time I get to play games is sacred. I want to enjoy a new card. Not next year when I don't have time to play anymore.

I know we don't often mention this, but we have been working exhaustively with our programming teams to make this happen. Hats off to them really! 
It's great and worth it long term for evga Most of the hardcore gaming folks will end up with evga cards while overpriced botted cards of other brands rot on eBay. At some point supply will open up and when more casual folks ask for recommendations most will probably recommend what they have, and because of this queue for most it will be evga.

Questions/concerns with auto notify system

One concern I have about this system is the fact that people that have been lucky enough to already grab a card who otherwise wouldn't have bothered to try to get a second card now have the opportunity to get a second card and scalp it.
Is EVGA checking to see if said person before sending a purchase link has (A) either registered a 3080/3090 already or (B) that they don't get sent links to purchase multiple models of various 3080s and 3090s?
I realize that a person that grabbed a zotac off amazon or a person who hasn't registered a evga card they grabbed off of newegg (for example) would slip through the cracks.

I logged mine around 5:45pm on 10/06. Sad that I didn't notify around the 17th... I ignored the notify system because I didn't think it would work - considering the speed of card sales. Ugh, gonna be a long wait.

I've just seen Jacob answer so many with the same response it actually hurts to see so many people not bothering to read his previous tweets and replies for answers.
I read through every comment in this thread... all 1400 comments... and didn't find a clear answer by EVGA staff. Jacob is very active on twitter, but I went ahead and I read back through 2 days of his comment and didn't find an answer. If you have a link to where he's answered this question before, please share it with me.
This is a perfect example of why an FAQ would be really helpful. This question isnt listed in any FAQ that I found. If it's out there, please link me to it.

My guess is a monthish to get through it. Remember its only one manufacture and split between many cards and I bet many people signed up and I doubt EVGA is getting a huge amount of chips...we will see though

There are 129 UNFULFILLED orders for the FTW3 Ultra on the 17th alone. I'm sure there are many more not even on the spreadsheet yet.

It seems like everyone wants a 3080 and no one has them. Very likely it could take months. Regardless. Evga is really thinking about the enthusiast.... And not bottom dollar. I think it's excellent. I already gave my word, I will only buy evga parts for all my pcs for future if they come thru and allow me to buy a card
