vegnar Hi all ,just received an email from evga support for one of the 3070 but no link to buy it, here is the message:
Dear Valued Customer,
This email is being sent in response to your request to be notified with availability updates for product 08G-P5-3755-KR.
You will be sent a notification email once this product becomes available.
Thank you, EVGA Sales
Is this that they send you first before giving you the chance to buy it ? In confused I was expecting a link to buy it . Anyone know?
They didn't used to do this when you signed up for auto notify, they only started doing this very recently. I did not receive that email acknowledgment when I registered for auto-notify for the 3080 or 3090 cards, but I did for the 3070 a few days ago.

Locutus494 So, I've seen many posts on the forums here of people telling their spots in the queues for 30 series cards. Where is everyone getting that from? I can't find anything even approximating a spot in line for me, all I see is the "My Notifies" page that only lists the SKUs I am queued for, the date/time I signed up for them, and weather or not I've been sent a purchase notification e-mail. It doesn't show anything else. Hell, I could barely find the My Notifies page itself; it seems to only be accessible through the first link in Jacob's original post in this thread. I can't even get to the page through the Member menu at the top of the website...
There is an unofficial spreadsheet that tracks the queue positions based on members self reporting to the spreadsheet. And for the second part of your query "Member>My EVGA>View My Notifies".
Thanks! I looked right past it...

After the 30 Series bonanza of Monday, Tuesday was bound to be a bit of a letdown. A few Ultras dropped for each of the 3090 FTW3s, 3080 FTW3s and 3080 XC3s. As of 00:15:00 am PT Wednesday, here are the queues that moved forward on Tuesday: Card SKU Auto-Notify Date/Time "AN" Sheet Registrants Served (increase on Tuesday) 3090 FTW3 Ultra 3987 9/25/2020 16:37:42 180 (+20) 3080 FTW3 Ultra 3897 9/17/2020 10:45:00 300 (+17) 3080 XC3 Ultra 3885 9/16/2020 17:15:57 98 (+7) 3070s A few 3070 XC3 Blacks dropped on Tuesday with the most recent “auto-notify” registrant reporting receipt of an “invite to purchase” email originally signed-up at 10/29/2020 06:00:24. In short, almost a week into the 3070 era, the XC3 Black queue has moved 24 seconds (I recognize that there were some lucky folks who were able to register during a test window or in the moments just prior to 6 am on 10/29). The 3070 FTW3 Ultra remained at 6:00:11. Thanks again to everybody that returned to the thread to self-report that they received “invite to purchase” emails. As a reminder, if you have the opportunity to self-report, please include the specific card (series and specific model (e.g., 3080 FTW3 Ultra)), and the date and time stamp of your original auto-notify registration for that card. It is really helpful to keep the thread up to date on the queues' progress. Jacob has indicated that more drops are coming this week. Let’s hope Wednesday is a return to form from Monday…but let’s dream bigger…we want big drops today, tomorrow and Friday! Now, let’s go get some cards…er…emails…yeah, let’s go get some “invite to purchase” emails!!!! [Yup, that cheer just rolls off the tongue.] Good luck today!

Hi @enewt, a question about self-report: This list is exclusively for the US store right? I queued for a 3080 FTW3 Ultra on 9/25/2020 8:25:37 AM on the EU store but there is no news yet, and I would like to know if your associated code can be used on the EU store. Thanks in advance

Yes, this queue is for North America/Puerto Rico/etc. My understanding is that a EU queue has started or should shortly start -- but that is all second hand. You can see your auto-notifies list on the EU webpage, correct? I believe this is the page: https://eu.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp To prepare for the queue, I would confirm that EVGA is a contact in you gmail/email client so that their emails don't find their way to your spam folder. If you are really paranoid, you might try to find an EVGA item that is currently out of stock (but that might come into stock soon -- I chose the XR1 but a PSU or case might work as well) and "auto-notify" for that as that email might come before the GPU's email and you can at least have a crack at confirming that the emails make it to you (periodically check the auto-notify page above to see if the "no" in the sent column changes to "yes". I actually don't know if my code would work, but I appreciate the consideration (and hope you use it ). I think substantially all of the associates in this thread are all North American-based so.... I hope the EU queue starts ASAP. As much as I want my name to come up, I'd like their to be some equity among the different regions as we have all had to wait too long (and are continuing to wait) to buy a 30 series. F5ing has a new name in my household "NVIDIA Keyboard Torture." Good luck securing your card! I hope you find success sooner than you anticipate.

You were very clear and I thank you. I have already checked that the communications sent by evga are not tagged as Spam by my email client by subscribing to the queue for 3070, and indeed the confirmation email was delivered to me in "Inbox". I renew my thanks and I hope that your code can also be used on the overseas store so that I can "reciprocate" for the dedication you are having in this period. Have a nice day.

It's good to hear that the EU queue is up. Makes me wonder if they'll even open up a queue for Asia. If they do, I might just give up my spot for the 3080 and 3090 US queue and just get it from there. Ironic that these cards are built and manufactured in Asia, yet it's NA that gets first dibs. But yes, I get it. EVGA's a US company, etc..

I am sure supply is tight in Asia, but how bad is the botting problem in Asia? It didn’t immediately occur to me that the bots would be swallowing card drops there too, but why not? RefluentSundew2 3080 spreadsheet link?

Well in my country, retailers are scalping. To begin with Nvidia launched 3070 FE at 680$ and 3080 FE at 960$ (dollar rates after conversion from local currency). So retailers are selling AIB cards at 200-250$ over and above already inflated FE price. Thankfully Nvidia has reduced FE prices in my country to 593$ and 826$ (still higher). But extremely low stocks of FE. And AIB cards prices are simply not coming down. Heck, I saw a 3090 for 3053$ equivalent today in one of the official retailers of AIB

jerhart Any movement on 3080 non-ultra models yet? I only notified on 9/16 for the 3881 & 3883 :(
According to Twitter @EVGA_Jacob, "hopefully" sometime next week, no guarantees
Do you have a link to this tweet? I'm always looking for info on the non-ultras and haven't seen this.
Yes, here you go: Edit: This one is better
Oi.... I hadn't seen that last tweet from yesterday that says NEXT week... As in 11/9-11/13 ...and he says "Possible"
Sounding more and more like I'm going to be sticking with this 3070 until the 4XXX series the end of next year - which, in the end, may be fine, as those will likely benefit from the competition AMD is throwing Nvidia's way this winter.
I'm anxiously waiting for a 3080...I game on a 4K TV, so I need the GPU power to play 4K games decently. I'm also working on a parts list for a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X build, as I currently have a i7-8700, so I'm sure I'm going to be bottlenecked somewhere for the time being...

Luckily at 4K, your GPU will be handling the brunt of the work so your processor is fine (not that a 5800X wouldn't be a big upgrade).

Still waiting on the 3090 XC3 Ultra's. Definitely the black sheep of the family, lol. I am seeing an uptick in e-tail stores dropping more stock so hopefully that's a good sign, but nothing like the some videos I had seen had said. Also quick question does moving from the Samsung 8NM to TSMC 7NM (assuming that rumor is true) have an impact on performance? I understand the move to increase yields, but wondering if it plays a bigger role in terms of specs and capabilities. Again, all speculation, but what else are you going to do while you wait?

TSMC 7NM wouldn't itself be the reason for increased performance, no.

Yes still on 9/17 for 3080's, 1045am for the **** Ultras. I am 5 mins away and hoping for a drop today, so I can clear my notifications. I also got my hands on a 3090 yesterday(Microcenter) but haven't opened it yet because I'm so close to a 3080 in the queue and don't need a 3090. So finger crossed I get my drop today so I can return my 3090.
