\o/ Got My RTX3080ti FTW3 in last night and got it installed! Thanks! I did run into an issue. The card runs fine when not gaming, I booted up Tiny Tina's Wonderland it played fine for a while (30 mins) but when I went to load a new map, the screen when black and I had to restart the computer. This happened over and over. I thought my Corsair RM1000 PSU (4 years old) was enough but, as it turns out, ...no. I confirmed this when I put my GTX1080ti Hybrid back in. The same thing happened. So I ordered a new HX1200 corsair PSU. Will be in today. I'm thinking the added pull on the PSU from the new card caused the PSU to age rapidly and the voltages are no long stable? Oh well...

I've used them a lot but lately I've gone to amazon. Although when all is said and done I hope I end up buying a gpu direct with evga.

So I got the PSU replaced under warranty and learned that it's actually two 500w rails. I researched which connector is which rail to not overload one rail. Nowadays, my power supply runs my 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra (3967) just fine with Boundary Benchmark and Minecraft RTX.

I'll probably get a evga 3070ti. I bought this psu in 2011! Never had a problem whatsoever. Wondering if it will be enough. Newegg description: "CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750 W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready" edit: I read 750 is the minimum. I'll probably try it and see how it goes.

So which connectors for PCLE did you run to the top of the card? It seems part of my problem is where these plugs go into on the power supply. My RM1000 has 2 upper and 2 lower PCLE connectors and each connector has 2 branches. When I run my 1080, which only needs to use 1 connector with two branches it runs fine. when I plug that connector into the lower PCLE's it causes my card to freeze.

The 3080Ti hybrid was my 1st choice for new build, hard to pass on card, but couldn't wait any longer for card and purchased EVGA 3080 12gb Hybrid in February.
Will use step up to move to 3090Ti - prefer 3090Ti Hybrid but it may never be part of stepup option.

Question, I was able to purchase a 3090ti just now directly from evga. They charged my card and I got a notification that the item would be shipping soon. Did I just happen to get lucky and the item was magically in stock?

I don't know. I won't be near my gaming rig until Sunday afternoon. But this article says: Since this PSU features a single +12V rail, we do not have anything to comment on when it comes time to describe its power distribution.

This sounds like it could easily just be a driver or os issue tbh if you haven’t checked that.

Can people please stop spamming their EVGA Associate code all throughout this forum? It’s getting really aggressive and off putting.
Also, please stop embedding your EVGA Associate code in the “NOW IN STOCK” links without disclosing that you have done so. It’s incredibly dishonest and predatory.
EVGA needs to implement Standards of Conduct for your Associates program.

i dont understand what you guys mean, except for the 3060's, pretty much anything is available to buy right now, except for the 3090ti and the 3070. you can get a 3070ti for $779 right now

Of course I do. Their market is clearly beginning to revert more to normal. Scalpers can't make money on them anymore. And the 4000-series is about to hit.

I think you have a good chance at getting this card, I would hold on to hope if you sent them your request that you still want to purchase the card

Emailing them is the best step, and has resulted in getting cards before. Also,I am curious. What is your SKU and signup time on the MyNotifies page? It will show you the time you signed up, down to the second.

EVGA should get you sorted in a day or three. Replying to the invite email you received (and in your reply, indicate your desire to purchase the card)...that should be enough for EVGA to find your registration and get you a new email. Best of luck!
