Son, i have a bridge to sell you.
The street prices will come down. GPU shortages have happened before, and will happen again. Supply will eventually meet demand, and GPUs will sell at or around their MSRPs (or lower for used cards or scalpers trying to cut their losses). It might not be this year, it might not even be next year, but it will happen. I do worry though, that GPU MSRPs are just generally going to be higher in the future. The current situation has shown that people will pay a lot to get a GPU for work or play, maybe even enough to disincentivize manufacturers to returning to the prices from a couple generations ago ever again. Doomposting aside, here's to hoping those 3080 HCs are on their way to EVGA and subsequently my PC case.

What is wrong with website can not get into notifies. And support is yet to get back to me on the transposition error I did on the 3987 3090 card. I registered it as a 3897 and purchased the warranty extension for 30 bucks. Need to cancel the registration and transfer the ext to the correct 3090 model 3987 card I am using safari browser.
When you registered you must enter the serial number. The serial number should have automatically corrected your mistake.
Did that not happen?
In your list of registered products does it still show up as 3897?
Sorry for the simple comment but something should have prevented you from completing the registration.
no I was tired and just finished dealing with a relatives medical emergency.
So I simply put in the first evga 3090 3987 purchased from antonline on Aug 03 and purchased the extended warranty
I then put in the second evga 3090 3987 (incorrcetly) and purchased the extended warranty. With a transpo error just like I did here with incorrectly.
Even though I did the transposition error and did not see the problem until after I purchased a warranty on a 3080 that I do not own.
I will say 2 things:
a serial number for a 3090 could have 1 extra digit and the system catches it.
the fact that
serial number 211413389702xxxxx shows a 3080 3897 error and not mine
serial number 211413398702xxxxx shows a 3080 3987 correct and mine
is on evga as a simple transposition error should not work.
Second the screen in black background white type which appears to be a default is hard as f--k for me to read.
I would prefer a white background with black type as the default for my products.

So easy to make a mistake. I understand.
BTW, completely agree about white text on black. Takes a while for my eyes to adjust. I never understood why it's so popular.
I'm sure EVGA will eventually sort it out for you. I've had some of my requests take a while but they always get to it.
Yeah I will pester them on Thur. And I did find chrome change colors extension which makes it almost okay. Both here and on the other website.

Why they make an EU queue if they are not willing to sell cards to customers from EU, they should stop it immediately, we can see all cards goes directly to retailers and they sell it for moon prices. This treat of customers is disgusting!

Well now how are ye today? I do hope you are doing well.
Today I struck another DIY job off the list, I replaced a siphon (flusher) in our ensuite bathroom loo.
This had been on the long finger for a long time, and initially I rang a plumber friend/colleague I had worked with for many years long ago...God I feel sooo old, hmmm!
Well he told me at the time he was too busy and I'd manage it myself just take it slow. Soooo I went out and bought a siphon/flusher and flushed by the success of fitting a new kitchen tap I grabbed my tool box and headed up stairs to tackle the broken loo.
Two-and-half hours later after much fecking 'n' blinding (cursing) I pronounced the patient alive and kicking. I won't mention the conversation I had with my good lady wife explaining about the water dripping from above our kitchen window except to say my plumber friends late father must have been laughing his ass off at me today. But hey Big Mike! It's fixed.
My point is...and I know this is a sore point for many EU folks like me. It's bloody annoying having to wait but for me the wait is everything. I have had soooo much fun here and met so many good folks. If I didn't have to wait look at how much I would have missed out on.
Anyway, I have polished off my very nice bottle of French brandy and I wish you all good luck and hopefully you'll get word soon.
But do you know what, sometimes waiting is not so bad. 🙂
P.S.
French brandy is excellent if you are suffering from high sodium levels. 😁
