That's enewt's code.. so kudos to Carfanatic for being generous.

i'm late on this and i know enewt does a lot to keep the queue up but calling someone selfish for that is ridiculous. everyone that has a code wants to spread it. if you don't why do you have one? enewt has to have some absurd amount of evga bucks. people really need to chill with this stuff. r/buildapcsales freaked out over codes and this feels like that all over again. who really cares.

Possibly a poor choice of word.  The intent here was to give Carfanatic a shout out... so I'll leave it at that.  Fixed above.

even going that far to care about it and the fact that people have freaked out about it in the past is what is ridiculous. i'll share my code anytime i'm allowed. no one should be shaming anyone for that. if EVGA has a problem then they can handle.

FYI, direct auto-notify links worked for this launch as well. I got in for the 3070 Ti XC3 Ultra at 9:07:30 that way. I actually got the form to pop up almost instantly but I couldn't get it to submit properly until a few minutes later.

Nice!! Do you happen to live close to the EVGA facility? I also used the direct link, got in around 9:04 just to be plagued by many different errors until 10:11 am. More than half an hour later than in got in the 3070 ti FTW3 queue, but a half hour before I got into the 3080 ti queue. I am just hoping for the XC3 for the cost and the fact it will fit in my case without ripping out my front radiator.

Considering the web site is still get hammered, I don't think any cards will go out today. 

I am sure that they could.  I mean, they probably hit the number of units they could ship out today in the first few minutes.  All that is happening now is testing to see how large the notify list can get on the first day.

I've been thinking, and it really doesn't make much sense, but I've had a much easier time getting 30XX series cards for me and my friends than when trying to obtain a Ryzen 9 5900X. I currently have a 5800X that I was able to get on launch from Best Buy but I originally wanted a 5900X. In that time I have managed to get my hands on an RTX 3070 FE and 3080 FE from Best Buy as well as get a 3070 XC3, a notification that I declined for the 3070 FTW3, a 3070 Ti FTW3, and now my 3080 Ti FTW3 that I am going to replace my 3080 FE with from the EVGA queue. Meanwhile, Best Buy has since then pretty much stopped doing regular drops of the 5900X and 5950X, and the only other place that I can get one at retail is to go to a Micro Center that is a 2 hour drive from me and hope they still have stock for the day.
 
I'm sorry for the rambling post but I needed somewhere to vent my frustration even if it isn't directly related to this thread. None of my friends are really computer nerds, they just play games on the PC's that they bought and maybe occasionally ask for help with upgrades.

I actually live on the east coast and have just gotten lucky with the last few drops as far as getting the notifications in. I may just removed these notifies because my 3080 Ti FTW3 is on the way and will need to offload my 3080 soon. Or I may keep the 3080 and make a second build some years down the line.
