I tried buying from ebay over the weekend. I offered 3 different sellers of evga 3070 cards a low offer well below what they were asking. All turned me down. But Eth is really dropping in payouts so maybe they will crack and sell me a evga 3070 with a small markup.
Everything here just moves very slowly. I think I am number 52 for the 3090 kingpin hybrid.
maybe it moves up this week and I get to number 40.

They did start on all the others too, so I would imagine shipping all of the other units as well as the ftw3 will take some time. I guess we will find out how fast they roll through this week. Our only hope is everyone else having difficulties getting in to help spread the queue time lol. I have a xc3 3070 already but looking to swap that into my wife’s pc and use the 3080ti for mine. She’s running a 1060 6gb at the moment lol

So what is the consensus now that the 3080TI is out- in terms of performance/longer term value versus the 3090? Provided that:
a) one can buy one
b) that the price is at or near RRP

Modify the case and get the card....I have cut hard drive cages to make stuff fit

I am about 116 on Kingpin, so not this year. 58 seconds from the 3968 3080ti. Eth has dropped but a 3070 is still making 5 USD a day, so I doubt we will see a huge sell off yet. As with the limited 3060 the 3080tis still sold out, as will the 3070ti, the scalpers are working hard at gathering as many as they can, as the more they get the higher price they can ask. The main issue is for folks like me who still 970 and such, and those on 10xx GPUs, the 3000 line are such a huge jump we all want one, some need a new GPU as well. Then add scalpers, and miners, and chip shortage, with new Xbox and New PS5 both using chips from same folks that make the GPU core, it is a perfect storm. NVIDA charging so much for the ti versions. Thus making record profits. So NVIDA is making enough to please share holders if no one else. Good Luck may your time stamp come quickly!

I just looked at the price that the ftw 3080 TI and the price of it is over $1,300, that makes me rethink what I am going to do when its my turn to order. I was originally going to keep it at $1,100 and use it myself, but now I am thinking my 1080 TI still has some life in it and even though I am against scalping I feel like the prices being set are going to force me in that direction.

7:57:24 AM PT, the best I could do considering the number of steps between getting logged back in and confirmation of notification submittal. I actually had the product pages pop up at ~ 7:30 but came to find that I was not logged in and therefore did not have a notify button. Bummer. Pretty sure most people had this problem. I thought it was a horrible time until seeing the notifies go out through 7:27AM last week.

Jason tweeted there will be more drops today - hoping at 7:29:11 am I land a card this week, would end the craziness of finishing my build - would be spectacular to pop a 3080ti FTW3 Ultra into my machine. Fingers crossed, figure 12pm EST, 9am PDT we may start to see some action.
