Nice to at least get confirmation of more drops next week. This kind of sustained fulfillment pattern would be fantastic, (although, like everyone else, I believe it when I see it continue).
I assume this is more because of initial stock. Once that runs out I bet we start seeing slow drip like the rest of the cards. Glad I got my FTW Hybrid yesterday :D

what about the other skus?
They are done with everything. It's Friday, they don't do drops on the weekend. Emails typically go out around 11-12 PT although they can go out later, this is uncommon.

I would be happy if I knew that was the case! I had a hard time getting in but managed to get in before 8am. I finally caved and bought a scalped EVGA 3070ftw from Ebay but I have been trying for about 7 months to get the 3080. While the 3070 has been a massive improvement over my old R9 290x...I find myself feeling like I settled for the 3070 :(

How did you guys manage 7:XX's!? I couldn't get in until 8:08..lol you guys are lucky!
It was not easy. I logged in at 5 AM. Came back at 5:50. Started waiting for the product page to load. (I had guessed correctly that it was the same as the 3060ti but with 3080). That loaded at about 6:20. From there I opened a tab for all the SKUs I wanted. From there I refreshed until I got one of those pages to load. Then the notify button didn't work. At around 7:25ish I got a page to load and the notify button worked. The little window has to load more pages that didn't load, but I just copied the HTTP request it tried to call and opened that in another tab—and it worked. I got super lucky that it didn't do a reCAPTCHA check, because when I tried that again later on other SKUs, I got a response that it failed because of reCAPTCHA. So, a little bit of luck. A little bit of web development skills.

Ha! Same here. Grew up in the world of the TI-99, Trash-80, and C64. Lots of audio cassette and 5 & 1/4 inch floppy saves. Oh for the days of making a 5 & 1/4 floppy double-sided using a hole punch.
How about learning FORTRAN using over night batch main frame processing and input with punch cards from an IBM-26 card punch machine?

Just remove yourself and let the next person have a go. Making a 1.5k purchase on the assumption someone else will buy it is not smart, especially when you get into the logistics of actually shipping it out to that person since low chance they will live near you. There's a host of challenges as well when shipping expensive items that its not worth the hassle.
