My question is why even do an auto notify if the elite members are most likely going to be backlogged for months on end? I got mine in at 805am pst yesterday for a 3967-KR. Hopefully I can actually get one, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm holding out hope that they are fully expecting the queue to progress much faster this time. But that's definitely overly optimistic :/

to give them hope or maybe in the future the supply will be bettter? better be prepare than to not be.. plus it doesnt cost u anything to sign up except your time.. but no one is forcing u to do anything.. you're welcome to try newegg shuffle or zotac if you prefer or camp out microcenter

I already got in the queue. I've also been trying my luck in the Newegg shuffle. I'm just hoping they aren't going to have a ridiculous wait time. If they ended the auto notify for the XC3 for stock limitations then they could have done it for the other models as well. The fact that they didn't gives me a little hope lol

What is the KN verses KR on the 3080TI's people were talking about yesterday?
When I look at all of the 3080TI options on the EVGA site, not one card ends in KN, all end in KR

The cards themselves are KR. There was a launch edition bundle with the SKU ending in K2 that was $60 cheaper and included a free mouse.

So what's next. how can I see my position. I click two products I want. I should be able to drop one when I received another one, right?

Sure you can drop one when you received the notify to buy for one, but most keep the second one in case they have a friend that needs a card.  I've received 3 cards from the queue, 2 3080 Hybrids and 1 3070 that i signed up on release days last year.  Those cards i got for the homies that needed cards. 

The people who received notifications were in the queue system. They weren't just lucky to get a chance to buy a card. They were the first to sign-up.

It is a little misleading on launch day. Some very fortunate people actually receive (invitation to buy) cards on launch day, but yes its mostly a que system  
 

how is it misleading. auto notify means they will notify you when they have stock.. theyre going another step by inviting u to buy if they have it.. hence the queue system.. shocking right?

on the 10th at 6 am for elite members the 11 for non elite. If you're not elite just post 100 times on the forums

It's 100% at 6 AM PDT. That has been confirmed by several official EVGA SM accounts as well as in other announcements. That guy must have been wrong. Don't let me him waste you time! Don't get up at 3 AM for nothing. lol

I think the 3070 t.i. will be generally easier to cop. They produce many more chips because of the smaller die size.
