SirKronan I do not blame EVGA. I blame Nvidia. And MSI.
Yeah I understand nvidia, but what did MSI do? Also, funny enough even though I have emails confirming my queue the entries do not actually show under the link for my queue notifications. Hmm maybe something failed and I am not in the queue after all...

Did you use the same e-mail address for your EVGA account when you requested for the auto notifies?

Checked there and it is not there. I used the same email for signup as the one that is linked to my EVGA account, but it is possible I was not actually logged in to EVGA account when hitting 'notify me' buttons. Is that relevant?

Sorry for the confusion, I am a sortifiable idiot. All this time today I was checking evga.com and sure, nothing should be there! It is all nice and present under evga.eu. Well at least that is OK. So, regarding EU stock - that makes my situation worse, or better ?

wookiecfk I actually signed up for all of the following: 3881, 3883 , 3885, 3897. All of those on either 6th of January or 8th of January, about the time I realised what kind of hellhole is going to be finding one of these. There is no way I am getting any of these before 16th of April, is there? I mean from my quick lurking it looks like 3897 is moving much faster then the others (being the most beefed up version available in EVGA store, probably with best markups) but is there any option we could enter new years without passing 16th of April? Sorry for maybe asking the obvious questions, I have no clue how to navigate on this forum. I know there is a spreadsheet passed around with a lot of information regarding the queue.
No worries for the questions, mate! That's why we're here :) As for timelines... Yeah... Based on how everything has been moving, I would be surprised if we made it to the new year for any cards (3897 included which is moving fastest) before the April cutoff. We haven't hit the second bottleneck around October 5th/6th for that one yet. :/

Likely worse, I am afraid. The EU queue got started later and appears to be moving even slower...if you can believe that. @BovineGamer has a separate thread on these forums and often will post his summary of the EU queues in this thread (when there is movement in the EU queues). Best of luck!

criskoe Not sure if this is even allowed but thought I would ask. Any one out there with a close XC3 que time want to trade For a FTW 3080.
My FTW is about 4 hours away from the current last known time on the update sheet. I had originally thought I had signed up for both but I guess not. Just the FTW.
I’d much prefer the XC3 due to card size.
I know I might be reaching but anyone interested?
Is it the 3897? I have someone near me who wanted to trade me an XC3 but I declined because I was holding out for an FTW3. Also, whereabouts are you located?
Yeah it’s for the 3897. From the movement today looks like I’m real close now. Like maybe 1 hour or closer. :) 10G-P5-3897-KR 9/19/2020 11:21:26AM NO I’m in Canada. Hoping someone out there wants to trade a XC3 for a FTW. DM if interested

worse ... EU not the same as US as it's not truly a place in line wait list. notice there's no EU google doc like for US???
Welp... that's too bad. I really like my 1080Ti from EVGA and wanted to purchase the next gen also with EVGA. To be fair the possibility of a higher price is not a direct nono from me, I understand that right now EVGA is between a rock and a hard place.... But the fact that the queue is moving either at glacial speeds or not moving at all is a problem. None of the local vendors in my country even offer EVGA and what they do offer found a nice spot between demand and supply at around 3x MSRP as far as 3080 and lower tiers are concerned.

Because it’s up to the person who has received the email notification to report back to this forum. Enewt can only go by on what is reported here.

From the looks of it, the 3897 queue will probably need three more drops to knock out the rest of 9/19. There are still launch fumes on that day, especially earlier in the day. Once it gets into the late evening and overnight hours of 9/20 it opens up quite a bit. Those who have a September time stamp don't have too much longer to wait. The question is will everyone with a September time stamp get their card before the prices go up. I copied and pasted the google sheet when problems first started to appear, but it was still 95% intact at that point. You can see where the time stamps are heavily concentrated. So far, it has played out that way in terms of how the queues have been moving. I don't think the data is reliable once it gets into October, so I can't see that far down the road, but September is pretty quiet after 9/19. I bet those dates will fall pretty quickly as long as cards keep dropping.

I think enewt has mentioned he is conservative as well with the estimates just in case there are mistakes. For example, I believe 3755 dropped today and should be up to 3:18 am on 11/5 already. Likewise, 3767 should be up to 6:14 am on 10/30.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon! If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

It's my conspiracy theory. Because they were the quickest to jack their prices up, and jacked them up the to the highest of any MSRPs from AIBs that I know of, my theory is that MSI said, "Don't worry, nvidia, we got this. We'll pay you more than everyone else for the chips, and we'll just charge the most. They'll still sell! We know from personal experience, since we already successfully scalped our own cards with our subsidiary company." I think they're getting more chips than the other AIBs. I've been following drops on discord for weeks in the microcenter threads, and the vast majority seem to be MSI. I think Asus, EVGA, and others are trying to keep the prices reasonable. MSI doesn't care. MSI cares about MSI. dcell Pleasant thought of the day if you still don't have the card you're waiting for: Just think of what a pain in the ass it is for all those RMA folks who have the card, but now have to wait for a replacement....
They set aside an allotment for RMAs. People on EVGA forums with issues have been getting replacements for defective cards long before members of the queue are getting fulfilled. Honestly, that's the way that it should be. We are not guaranteed a sale in a free market on a high demand product, but once we have purchased said product, it comes with a factory guarantee to work (aka warranty).
