I have been doing more research on specifically 3975 which I want and found that I don't believe its had an update since the end of November. I am not too far away in the queue but also for $1700 I can find a few on ebay for roughly $2000 and I am considering bidding on it. What do you guys think? Also would I be able to add the extended warranty even off an ebay purchase? Thanks

Keep the faith guys, the stock IS slowly getting better. I was at Micro Center earlier today and the case was actually stocked with EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultras, EVGA 3090s FTW3 Ultras, and Strix 3090s with no one in line waiting for them. They also had some AMD 6900s but we don't talk about those.. XD It was the Micro Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Who knows, maybe they stocked them right before you walked in the door. A friend in SoCal has been to the Tustin store multiple times per week since Xmas and keeps coming up empty. Bad timing, I guess.
That is possible! I went in the middle of the day and a friend who went later in the evening said they were still there so I’m just trying to stay optimistic for everyone. Lol. I feel like even before if they stocked in the middle of the day they’d be gone or at least the non-MSI ones. Just hoping this is a good sign (aside from 3080s of course).
This does give me hope. I'll see how fast my EVGA queue moves this week and see what I want to do...

hard to believe February is pretty much here.. This coming February 17th will be 5 months since the RTX 3080 was 'officially' released. I was really hoping things would be better by now, I am surely thought I would have a 3080 by this time.. Nothing to do but continue the watch and continue being patient. I will have my 3080 FTW.. I will.

Against my better judgement I have decided to add my name to the lists for 2 of the Ultra cards. With the way things are moving on those lines I will probably see those long before the ones I was looking at getting. Here is a link to the NA Queue Summary that enewt has made, and has been doing daily updating for us here on the EVGA forums.. If you pay 2000 grand for a 3090 and mine for a month at current rates you are even. I believe the coins are going higher long term and the cards are a great investment, plus you can game.

You could always list it for what you paid for + an offset for EBay fees or where-ever you want to sell it's charge. That way it goes to someone that'll use it instead of possibly going to a scalper when the store resells it as an open box item :-P
100% Agree with that, returning it to MC will probably just send it back to MSI for "Reconditioning" where it will be out of circulation for months.

They are the most recent reports of people getting the purchase email from community members on this forum, it is tracked and updated by our Lord and savior enewt. Unfortunately it is not perfect for obvious reason but it helps us have an idea of where we are at
