Hey everyone.  So I just signed up yesterday and I've been pouring through the information on this forum.  But this thread has over 700 pages...and its a lot to go through.  I'm sure this question has been asked about the queue before...but if it has i can't find it.  Is there somewhere that shows the queue...updated, and in real time?  I've looked all over EVGA's website and didn't see anything.  It appears that there is a list but its being kept by members??  I just signed up for the queue yesterday for a 3987...so I realize its gonna be 3-4 months.  But it beats waiting in line at Micro Center for 3 years in 20 degree temps to be told they have none in stock...again, and again, and again.

Thanks!

It took 5 months to move 2 days in the queue. Sorry.

That queue if I remember right has gotten through its first congestion period so it's possible to get it before summer but I wouldn't hold my breath

That's crazy!  Only two days in five months!!??  But that's my question...where did you go to see that information?  Is it somewhere on EVGA's website?  Someplace where you can see where the list is currently, and where your place is in the queue?

We really only have self-reports to keep us informed.  When users of the forum receive their email, they will usually update us and that tells us roughly where the queue is.  For instance, the last self-report for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra (3897) shows 9/18 around 11 pm.  I've been signed up for that one since 9/21, also around 11 pm, so I still have a full three days between the last known self-report and my sign-up time.  It's moved almost two days in 4 1/2 months, and I still have three days left.  I have no idea when my time will come.  Don't hold your breath if you've signed up recently.

This is the best I can offer.  It is a summary of reports of folks in the North American queue receiving "invite to purchase" emails (not the initial email you receive when you first click on the auto-notify button, but the email that you get when it is your turn to buy a card from a given queue).  If you have not done so already, I recommend signing up for all the cards that you would possibly consider purchasing...you never know which card will get to you first.  Best of luck!

If you just signed up in the queue for the FTW 3 Ultra like others said yeah, took them 5 months to move barely 2 days in the queue, and it's slowing down again since last week (9 days without a decent drop now for those).

You are most definitely not getting a card this year for sure, don't believe whatever people might tell you, it won't magically ramp up all of a sudden (said people and EVGA also keep saying that since September again and again). Start looking somewhere else for a card, most of the queues are not moving if anything at all on a daily basis here, and it likely won't change until 2022.

Also if you can have access to a bot to snipe a card for you I would strongly suggest to use it: that's pretty much the only way you'll get one too, or no-life-F5 all day on sites waiting for a card. There's no rules anymore, you do what you need to do to get a card. Use the weapons of our enemies if you have too.

Keep the faith guys, the stock IS slowly getting better. I was at Micro Center earlier today and the case was actually stocked with EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultras, EVGA 3090s FTW3 Ultras, and Strix 3090s with no one in line waiting for them. They also had some AMD 6900s but we don't talk about those.. XD It was the Micro Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Do you know how often they stock? Is there like a specific day that's best to go there? I'm from Pittsburgh, PA, and really tempted to visit a micro center... but I'm afraid with the drive that if I'm not there SUPER early I'd miss out... and I don't want to make a large trip that is completely wasted..... I'd love to go there just to snag either a 3060ti or 3070, and get myself a 5800x (I already got an x570 board that's currently running my 2700x)... but I'm assuming people are going there as soon as it opens and grabbing them all up....

Also, weirdly, I have also been to the columbus microcenter in the last week, and it was completely empty, they had a used 2070 super there and a guy was buying it as I walked over.

Greetings all as we wait on cards just wanted to share some info that I haven’t seen posted yet , I hate being the bearer of bad news but we all have waited so long and I feel this is like another stick in the eye .. 🤷‍♂️

Below is a rule of thumb schedule for the Chinese New Year holiday.

End of January: Suppliers will begin to stop production.
Early February: Employees begin leaving the factories.
February 11: All employees have left the factory.
February 12: Chinese New Year.
End of February: Employees begin arriving back at the factories.
March 4: Most employees have returned.
March 11: Operations are almost back to normal.

The one thing that gives me hope is that Samsung is supplying the silicon for the 30 series cards, and they're a South Korean company.  While China is out enjoying their holiday, hopefully Samsung will keep pumping out chips.  Maybe once the Chinese workers return to the factories, there will be enough chips in stock to put a dent in the queue.

Who knows, maybe they stocked them right before you walked in the door. A friend in SoCal has been to the Tustin store multiple times per week since Xmas and keeps coming up empty. Bad timing, I guess.

I was in line at the Micro Center in Cincinnati Friday morning.  Everyone that wanted a 3070 or a 3060ti got one.  They had a few 3090's.  I was 6th in line and the first person that wanted a 3080...of course none in stock.

I feel ya, buddy :/ unfortunately, there’s just no way to know. I talked to a few of the employees and they get shipments more or less every day, but the size of the shipment is random. Some days they’ll have one six cards and other days they’ll have a pallet full. When I got mine two weeks ago, there were people who had lined up at 4 in the morning but I got lucky and it was a heavy day so I snagged a 3080.

That is possible! I went in the middle of the day and a friend who went later in the evening said they were still there so I’m just trying to stay optimistic for everyone. Lol. I feel like even before if they stocked in the middle of the day they’d be gone or at least the non-MSI ones. Just hoping this is a good sign (aside from 3080s of course).

Yeah it’s a total crapshoot. Sorry for your luck :( but hopefully it turns around soon! I don’t know if MSI has just RAMPED up their production or if no one wants those, but I’ve been seeing them relatively recently. Yesterday was the first day I saw EVGA or ASUS still there, though. Granted, even with high demand, not everyone can drop 2k on the strix so it’s understandable 🤣

Guarantee ya there's scalpers that are hitting stores with multiple people the same as there are online, just like there were people on launch day/week trying to buy people's spots in line for those that did get spots to get cards on the first day the stores had them for more than retail - there are folks that are heavy enough in the scalping game they can give money to several people & go wipe a store out with there being no way to trace that it's actually one person buying them all.
There's still mucho profito in the cards at the moment, especially with the lull in production of the Chinese New Year being upon us, things are going to get worse again before they get better, both in drop sizes being smaller again, and prices going back up because of less supply.
Then after we get all the way out of the CNY lull, we get the full Tariff slap in April :-D

I have an MSi 3090 that I’m planning on returning to micro center I decided I can’t justify keeping it

why not just sell it and make a few bucks? its not like it was your intention, but id suggest profit.

You could always list it for what you paid for + an offset for EBay fees or where-ever you want to sell it's charge.  That way it goes to someone that'll use it instead of possibly going to a scalper when the store resells it as an open box item :-P

Have not seen anything at stock yet once in EU since rtx 3080 was announced, im not recognizing its existence until i see it in stock, web shops in netherlands have no stock already and are asking ridicilous prices for 3070 cards, why is this still a problem i thought stock problems would be fixed by now.
