I've been watching the cards coming into stock and it's so beautiful I almost click add to cart every time because I just can't believe it...but I don't need any more cards...so I don't do it. Anyway, while I still pop in to try and help people troubleshoot issues when I can, I hadn't been on this thread as much and I just today realized that the big thread I spent so much time in has been...de-stickied. I'm assuming a great deal of goo-gone was required for that.
In any case, before it is archived or disappears into the "over thirty days" black hole that you have to click special buttons to find it in if you ever want to venture into the past, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that made this a fun thread even when we were frustrated about wait times, missed queues, spam flags, or running out of marshmallows. Thanks everyone! It gave me something to do when we had some downtime at work during the pandemic. Cheers folks.

My goodness, I'm from EU and I just received a "step 2/4" notification email for a step-up to 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I registered my 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra 12/18/2021. However I'm not sure if I will update it anymore because the prices for new products are not that steep anymore, they are abundantly available, and well do I really need a 3080... Also I thought EVGA was a premium brand but 1. EVGA 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra has a common production fault in the fan noise (that I had to send to RMA twice for them to fix and I'm not sure if it was fixed this time yet as I just got it back, the first time they did nothing but just sent it back) 2. the product package being a wobbly piece of plastic is not adequate for a 500+ EUR product 3. how they are treating the European market destroyed that image for me.

So after all this time since the queue lock notice in October, people before October have still not been able to get a card?

The thread gave us a crowdsourced sense of progress that EVGA themselves didn't provide, it was a great community effort. I even compiled the data into spreadsheets for more easy-to-follow graphs. octapusxft So after all this time since the queue lock notice in October, people before October have still not been able to get a card?
Yes. Though each SKU has its own queue, some move faster than others. My spreadsheet( s) keep track of how much each SKU has moved since it released. Some of the queues completed and are now in stock, but there are some that are still waiting. These categories are more likely to be complete and in stock: - Anything released more recently, such as:
- 79% (11/14) of Queue 3.0 (2022) cards
- 80% (8/10) of June 2021 cards (not including the 3080 non-Ti Hydro Coppers, which technically released in June 2021 but had premature signups from Nov/13/2020 honored. Both finished their queues.)
- 55% (12/22) of 2020 cards
- Ultra Gaming cards (as opposed to just "Gaming"), particularly 3090s, 3080s and June 2021 cards
The category least likely to be in stock are Gaming SKUs that aren't "Ultra". Only 40% (4/10) of them completed their queues. In fact, they include the only June 2021 cards that haven't yet completed their queues (a 3070 Ti and a 3080 Ti). Finally, 5 SKUs have somehow jumped straight from "stuck in 2020" to "in stock".

@DoctorDothraki Thanks for the reply I finally noticed the "in stock" checkbox thanks to your post. So clicked it and I saw that the SKUs that are in stock here in Europe are the...3090 ti ones...(the ones almost nobody buys) I did saw that on the US site there are a lot more. I guess there is progress that will eventually come to EU too.

Aw, you just need a US buddy to ship it to you! That stinks to have to keep waiting just because of shipping shenanigans.

Sadly that is not a great idea these days for Greece since they slapped a +24% Value-Added Tax on such goods so even if one mails it, it will probably be held by customs. It is okay, I can wait. My 1050 ti is still holding on like a champ on low settings. The prices of various cards keep dropping daily by 3-24% from their inflated state as the local e-stores try to undercut each other so I expect a lot more cards to reach their launch prices and the older cards to return to their Summer 2020 prices.

There are a few EVGA cards on amazon.de ano a search will find them, most are reasonably priced. They are supplied by & sold by amazon. I'm being tempted by a 3080 FTW3. 😃 Best of luck to ye all.

Seriously, manners maketh a man, what the.... the thread was a big amount of efforts to maintain sanity and decision of buying / waiting / finding alternative for anyone waiting, following drops and where is when, some queues were so dead and others were active, we knew that from following the queue, I can go on giving zillion reasons why this thread seriously helped a lot. I am just surprised / disgusted by how the lack of manners / smartness and the huge amount of gratefulness in your comment :) !

It was definitely a moment. “I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo. “So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

Meanwhile, I will likely keep my 3967 ( 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra) for 7 years. The same duration I kept my PNY GTX 760 (November 2014 to December 2021). See you when they skip straight from RTX 10000 to RTX 16000 I guess! Also, was a disclaimer on many cards, even a few that claimed to be in stock at one point. It disappeared today, and it read: Due to high demand, the notify queue sign-up is temporarily disabled. If you have a current queue position, EVGA will continue to process as stock is available.
