Can’t wait! $60 discount added as well.
Congrats! Love to see they are shipping black cards!
Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the email was in regards to me signing up to be notified. Luckily I decided to read the email a second time or I would have missed out.
Question, other than the boost clocks, what’s the difference between the black and ultra?
Yeah I almost missed mine.

The differences I know are the FTW3 Ultra cards have bigger air coolers and RGB lights, and that EVGA makes more Ultras (FTW3 in particular) than any Black or Gaming cards. Unless they're the 3060 or 3060 Ti models. I speculate that Ultra cards have the highest profit margins for EVGA, judging by how often they're reported and that they tend to "complete" a queue before their counterparts.
Well the pics and product info are exactly the same between the FTW3 Black and FTW3 Ultra. Only difference are the boost clocks.

it says it rewards "loyalty" but the score only applies for a 3 year period. i have 6 gpus and 2 psus registered over the years but my score is 0.

Anyone buying 3090 Tis? Seems kind of late in the generation to me, but I'm sure someone must be looking for something like that... Has anyone gotten one through the queue yet?
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon! If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

I’m in the q for the 3090ti hc. I’ve been in the q for the regular 3090 hc for 52 weeks now. I kinda just want to see which gets off the q first.

I just got my notify queue email for the 3090ti ultra this morning, but I think I will pass. Thought about it these last 2 days and I think I rather wait til next Gen since it's coming around rather quickly.

Just got the same thing. Decided to just suck it up and wait instead of spending 2K+ on a card based on 18 month old designs. I'm basically banking on the rumors I've seen of performance difference between the two generations. Sounds like it's even bigger than 2000 vs 3000 series. If I wasn't looking to push high res VR HMD's with a new card I probably would have grabbed the 3090Ti but the performance difference I saw vs 3090 at 4K isn't enough based on what I've seen on VR channels on YouTube for the sims I would be using them for. 3090's are even struggling. These new VR HMD's coming out are 5-6K easily or more in resolution.

You are right. With the 3090 Ti, EVGA used the FTW3 cooler for all 3 air cooled cards so the only difference is out of the box clock speeds. You can of course just use MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision X and overclock them manually. I would prefer the black card, you save a few bucks and there really isn't much difference if you are comfortable using overclocking software.

Id gladly save $200 and OC it myself. Guess I got somewhat lucky since it’s no longer in stock.

Same for the other waterlogged cards, including the KPE. Availability is likely many weeks/months away, so prices will be...different...then (inflation and all that).

Food for thought, the 3090 ti kingpin will have 1200 watts input from power connectors across 6 8 pin connections....unless it's unlocked/over spec and draws up to 1500w or so 😒 🤔

That will equate to 600-700w power limit from factory most likely, and XOC bios might go over 1k 🤔

It almost feels like you could bring Frankenstein's monster to life or make the DeLorean time machine travel in time with that much electricity. And for my first newtpost, I drew a 1200 watt power supply, which I thought was high.

Yeah. Techquickie basically said the same thing of "Your power supply is obsolete already?" when talking about ATX 3.0. Mainly talking about the new graphics card power connector.
