Are you planning on using the 3080 for 10 years tho?  is the warranty transferrable to a new card?

I'm planning to use my 3090* for 6 years, maybe 7, until 8K120 becomes doable. Then it'll get passed down to the Kiddo so she can game at 4k120+ or so.

Extended Warranty is only $60 for 10 years.
Advanced RMA is only $44 for super duper shipping. You have 90 days to buy the warranty from registration, and 30 days for the Advanced RMA IIRR. Both are well worth it.. as someone with a dead 780, a working 460, 560, and 1080.. you can figure out which had a warranty and which didn't. (stupid NCIX..)
 
$104.99 extra to have no hassles for a decade is sweeeet. 
 
Just a general FYI. RDR2 has finally finished (stupid 90MB/s downloads during the day slow down on gig.. ) so I'm gonna max that and see how it looks.

As a reminder, we do not know -- and it is not part of these numbers -- how many cards were sold through this queue system to consumers who have not self-reported to the spreadsheet.  The spreadsheet could represent 1%, 5%, 50% or 90% (or another percentage) of "auto-notifies" -- we simply do not have visibility into the "whole".

Yeah, I am sitting right under that and kind of getting sick of waiting.  I am 9/17 8:11.  Does anyone know if any 3080 FTW Ultra are dropping today?
I spend so many hours looking at email because I am so close, but don't get wrong I am grateful.  I just have never experienced not being able to purchase
a card.  Was able to purchase 3 1080ti's during the mining craze.  I could have got the 3090 but just can't justify the expense right now.

I'm hopeful for all of you still waiting. I truly hope production steadily increases and you all get the cards you're waiting for...

It is better not to know how many people is in front of you. A week ago I was 575, and yesterday 723. (for 3080 FTW Ultra).
As tennis_ski noticed line is still on LAUNCH DAY early morning time, after six weeks.
So go figure out is your turn in 2021 or 2022.

I'm not super knowledgeable about the whole thing so I would like to know: who would be responsible technically for this laughably ridiculously slow production of the cards? Is it nVidia because they can't send them fast enough to suppliers (EVGA in this case) or EVGA that is not making them fast enough?

Just so folks know roughly where the queue is.
 
Well I got my notification for: 10G-P5-3885-KR 9/16/2020 1:43:50 PM PT, I would have been about 54 in the spread sheet but did not make the entry.
 
I am really torn, I want the: 10G-P5-3897-KR 9/17/2020 5:10:22 PM PT, but that looks like it is a long way off yet.
 
Not sure if I will buy the 3885 yet, lots of figuring to do.

Well well, it just moved by 21 days

Looks like I'm around 594 on the 3080 FTW3 Ultra.  Guess it will be a while.
Also looks like I'm around 329 on XC3 Ultra. I think if it show's up first in my email, I'll go for it.

Honestly don't mind which I get. It will be a good upgrade for my 1080.
